Les Hirondelles is a five bedroom property in the beautiful Vendee between Lucon and Fontenay-le-Comte and close to St Hermine.

Downstairs there are two twin rooms and one double, one shower room and one bathroom.

Upstairs are one double and one twin room with a chill out zone and another shower room. The rest of the property comprises a living room and well equipped kitchen.

Wifi and freesat TV with all the usual English channels are available.

Outside there is a garden with swimming pool and table tennis table. There is plenty of parking outside the property.

Excellent family house with pool

Superb property with great facilities, a lovely pool and great garden. The house is very comfortable, well appointed and very well equipped for a big group. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and helped with great suggestions of things to do and places to visit.

Lovely quiet village location

Just got back from a fabulous holiday at a great Gite in La Chappell Themer. Quiet village location, but not too far to the supermarkets and town for essentials. About 40 mins drive to Puy du Fou (outstanding) and lots of chateau’s to visit in the area Gite was well appointed, spacious bedrooms and pool and outside area lovely, with use of bbq and large table areaSituated opposite the beautiful church (the bells made us jump a couple of times), it was a perfect get away to relax. Hosts live next door if you need anything and are lovely people Had a wonderful holiday

Lovely Gite

Had a lovely week, Gite was in a very quiet village, (except for the church chiming 3times a day!!) Not many places to go out to eat, but we had some fab bbq’s by the pool. The pool was wonderful and was very much enjoyed by the boys, cleaned by the owner every few days . The Wights lived next door were extremely helpful and discreet. Would highly recommend for families, well equipped kitchen and laundry room and lots of shower rooms. The owners had stocked the kitchen with everything you might need to get you started ie coffee pods , washing machine tablets, washing pods etc even a lovely bottle of wine.

Super séjour entre amis aux hirondelles

Super séjour au calme et avec une météo ensoleillée pour profiter de la piscine et des activités en extérieur . La maison est bien équipée , nous avons aimé prendre notre temps et profiter du magnifique jardin . Nos hôtes se sont montrés très respectueux et serviable, nous avons apprécié notre séjour

Séjour très agréable dans une grande maison bien équipée, dans un village typique de la campagne vendéenne. Le beau temps étant au rendez vous nous avons bien profité de la piscine après une journée de visites.

Puy du Fou 2023

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Chapelle Hermet les hôtes sont adorables et discrets. La maison comporte de nombreuses chambres et plusieurs salles de bains. Tous les équipements sont complets, il n'y a rien à dire. Le temps n'était pas clément et nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine, mais la région alentour offre de nombreuses promenades.

Eine versteckte Perle in Frankreich

Herzlichere und hilfsbereitere Gastgeber kan man sich nicht vorstellen. Aufgrund unserer späten Anreise an einem Sonntag, haben sie uns alles besorgt, was man an Lebensmitteln für Abendbrot und Frühstück benötigt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist mehr als vorbildlich, alles blitzeblank und funktionsfähig. Der Pool war perfekt bei der Hitze und verfügt zudem über eine Kinderalarmanlage und die funktionierte UNÜBERHÖRBAR und sehr schnell. Das Haus und der Garten versetzen den Gast in ein anderes Jahrhundert, alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail saniert und eingerichtet. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Excellent séjour

La maison et le jardin avec piscine sont très agréables à vivre. La maison étant située à mi chemin entre la Venise verte et la mer, beaucoup de sorties sont possibles, mais cela nécessite un peu de voiture. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Les 10 personnes présentes sont revenues ravies.

vacances en famille réussies

Nous avons passés un bon séjour au gîte des Hirondelles. Pour 10 personnes (trois familles différentes) ce lieu est très bien conçu, propre et très bien équipé. Il ne manque rien aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Cerise sur le gâteau les hôtes sont adorables, plein d'attentions pour leurs invités.

Summer fun

Great property - really good size with easily room for two families and 4 energetic children. Excellent facilities - especially in the kitchen and garden (pool is lovely). The owners live next door and were fantastic - very responsive before the holiday, cleaned the pool and helped if required but otherwise didn't know they were there :-) Location is very much the middle of nowhere but enjoyed the bike race and local party - would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to relax with a great pool.
