Room in a Fortified Farm

Spacious double room with King size bed & en-suite bathroom. We are a family run business, located in the heart of the French countryside on the border between Deux-Sevres and Véndée. We have lived in France since 2005 and bought our fortified farmhouse in 2011, from which we are now running a B&B and camping facilities.
Take a step back in time in our medieval property, sympathetically restored to retain as many of the original features as possible but adding modern comforts. If visiting Puy De Fou our property extends the experience.
Breakfast is not included in the room price but is available at €9,50 per person, advance booking required and evening meals are available by pre-booking. Minimum of 2 choices for each course and dietary requirements can be catered for - cooked by a trained chef on site. Covered and open terraces, BBQ's and fire pits all available. Meals can be taken indoors or outside depending on preference. In the warmer months a plunge pool is also available.
Situated approximately an hour and a half from the coast, the local area offers a range of tourist facilities whilst still benefiting from a tranquil environment. Most of the nearby towns host weekly farmers markets.
Our 9 acre property includes a thriving vegetable plot, dogs and cats, an assortment of poultry and neighbouring cows.
Pets welcome by prior arrangement , €10,00 per night, dogs etc allowed in rooms but cannot be left unattended. Dog kennel facilities are available on site by reservation.
