Hospitality is top!

Portugal was amazing and the hospitality of the people is great. We had a very pleasant stay in Afife and the home of João. The garden and the swimming pool are probably the highlight of the property!

Properly is clean and has everything you need . The garden is beautiful and very tranquil. The swimming pool is great especially when it’s hot !

Excellent Stay

We enjoyed spending a week over here. The house is well-equiped and we had everything we needed. The garden was really lovely with different areas to relax, to play, to have a meal... The beach is nearby and there is a wooden walkway along the coast, it was nice to go for a walk there to see the sunset.

We had a wonderful time / Passámos um tempo maravilhoso

After a few lively days in Porto, we arrived in Afife. Joao and his mother Maria were waiting for us and gave us a warm welcome. The flat was clean and well equipped. We had two and a half quiet weeks in Afife, enjoying the garden and especially the private pool, having breakfast with a sea view in the morning and enjoying a port tonic on the terrace in the evening with the colours of the sunset. Joao and Maria are wonderful and warm-hearted hosts, Maria occasionally provided us with homemade marmalade or dessert and enquired whether we were doing well. Joao came at the weekend to check on things - and was always easy to reach in between. We really enjoyed our summer holiday there - thank you very much for your hospitality! We would be happy to recommend you and would love to come back

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, fantastischer Garten, sehr gastfreundliche Besitzer

Liebe Maria Olivia und Joao, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in eurem Haus sehr genossen. Oft haben wir schon beim Frühstück vom Balkon aus auf den rauschenden Atlantik geschaut, nachdem wir täglich frische Brötchen und die obligatorischen Natas in der nahegelegenen Bar geholt haben. Der Garten um das Haus und der Pool waren sehr einladend und sauber, es gibt viele gemütliche Ecken zum Sonnen und Lesen. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man zum Kochen benötigt. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Vila Praia de Ancora. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, sodass man die wichtigsten Städte im Norden Portugals besuchen kann, aber auch an den Strand gehen kann. Unser Favorit war die Praia de Arda, allerdings waren die Wellen zu wild zum Baden. Nochmals vielen Dank für Eure Gastfreundschaft, Muito obrigado ! M. & Ch.

Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft sehr nett empfangen und mit allen Informationen versorgt. Die Wohnung war für uns perfekt und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Außenanlage war einfach toll und unsere Kinder haben vor allem den Pool genossen. Die sehr gute Lage bietet die Möglichkeit für Strandtage wie auch für Sightseeing. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt.

Un endroit idéal pour découvrir le Portugal du Nord.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Très beau logement, propre et confortable, à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques et de la mer accessible à pied. Muy buen sitio para vacaciones

Este lugar tiene muchos comentarios excelentes y se los merece todos. Un lugar perfecto para descansar con lugares para ver y playas si te apetece moverte, y piscina privada si no. Buenas instalaciones, ajuar y equipo abundante, sitio para aparcar coche y supermercado a 5 minutos. Definitivamente para repetir.

Vacaciones en Casa Amaro

En agosto hemos pasado una semana inolvidable en casa Amaro. Los anfitriones han sido muy profesionales y amables. Han estado en todo momento pendientes de nosotros y nos han facilitado todo tipo de atenciones, lo que agradezco personalmente al Señor Alves y a su familia. La casa está equipada con todo lo necesario para su uso. La ubicación es excelente, cerca del la playa, con piscina y jardín muy cuidados, con chimenea, zona de barbacoa, mesa y sillas para comer en el jardín. La recomiendo sin ningún género de duda. Espero poder volver pronto a Casa Amaro. Nos ha encantado. José A. López González

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. La maison est très propre et très bien équipée, le jardin est magnifique et la piscine très bien entretenue. Nous avons été très bien accueilli avec un cadeau de bienvenue. Le propriétaire est très gentil et très arrangeant, sa maman est adorable et elle nous a donné de très bon conseils pour nos visites. Le logement est très bien située ce qui permet de visiter les principales villes du Nord du Portugal mais également d'aller à la plage. Je recommande vivement cette location et nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

6 Tage bei strömendem Regen bei sehr fürsorglichen Gastgebern

Wir (2 Erw./2 Kinder) haben gerade 6 Nächte in diesem Haus verbracht. Der Empfang und die Betreuung während der Woche waren sehr herzlich und fürsorglich. Bei unserer Ankunft standen netterweise in der Küche schon ein paar Sachen bereit. Die Aufteilung der Wohnung ist prima und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist auch super. Mit dem Wetter hatten wir leider gar kein Glück. Umso mehr haben wir das zur Verfügung gestellte Brennholz geschätzt. Zumindest war es so am Kamin schön gemütlich und warm. Wir hoffen, das Haus mit dem sehr gepflegten Garten und den Pool mal bei wärmeren Temperaturen geniessen zu können. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung unsererseits.

Fantastic garden, lovely appartment, superfriendly hosts

Dear Joao, thank you for a fantastic time! The appartment on the inside was nice and clean with a modern bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. The real treasure however is the outside: the garden was so lovely with its flowers, the figs, walnuts, lemons, oranges, grapes,... superb! Also the beach just down the hill is in our opinion the nicest in the greater vicinity. On top we were delighted with the personal touch: chocolates, portwine, flowers, toys for the kids... Thank you very much! We can only recommend this appartment!

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le logement à notre arrivée était très propre ainsi que le reste de la propriété. Environnement calme et agréable, nous avons profiter au maximum de la piscine qui est parfaitement entretenue. Merci à notre hôte et à sa mère qui se rendent disponibles pour toutes questions. Juste à côté des plages et de Viana, coin idéal pour en prendre pleins les yeux. PS : pensez à prendre un produit anti-mouche pour vos repas à l'extérieur.
