Nice apartment in a very quiet area

We loved our stay at this apartment, although we stay only from one night. The host was very nice and explained everything to us. The apartment had the basic necessities, plus they had a washer machine for longer stays. The only thing that can be improved is to add AC to the other rooms in the house. Only the master had AC. Which was noted in their description. Overall, I highly recommend it.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
I stayed at this apartment for only 9 hours and cannot recommend it to travelers. I will list some of the issues first and explain the major complaint.1. There are 2 air conditioners. But 1 is either not working or they are both undersized. It was about 30C out during the day and after running AC for several hours at night, the apartment was still 26 and 27 Celsius. Too hot to sleep comfortably.2. Address provided at confirmation goes to different location on Google Maps. Address at profile is correct but nowhere does it list the house number. It took me 20 minutes of looking and ringing door bells before finding the apartment.BUT the biggest problem I have is that the whole area surrounding the home is under construction. All 4 sides!!! It had been this way for many months, but the owner did NOT disclose this until the night before arrival. I feel this was deliberate and takes away all the trust in the hosts. Because of the construction, the road to the apartment was closed.1. I could not drive up to the house, but rather had to look for parking on a busy street and walk the luggage over.2. The patio was unusable as it was covered in construction dust and dirt. The air had a visible cloud to it.The rental wasn't cheap but the experience I received wasn't worth half of what I paid. Do you want to take a chance on a host that is not completely honest with the rental? I was lucky I only stayed 1 night, if longer I would have booked another place immediately.

Close to airport

Needs some maintenance.... got a shock from outlet, black mold in kitchen. Great location to airport, Helena is a warm, kind lady!! Thank you for leaving your studies to fetch us at the wrong location. HomeAway Google maps sent us on a goose chase! Beds were comfortable. Clean.

Vielen Dank Helena!

schöner Aufenthalt in Faro

Helena has been a fantastic host. We arrived late in the afternoon and Helena welcome us explaining us everything and ensuring everything was fine. Property is very comfortable and located in a very quiet place not far from Faro center and very close to local amenities. Unfortunately we have been in Faro only one night, but would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful Faro stay

This large and cozy apartment was a very comfortable and quiet place to relax after long days in the warm Algarve sun. Every amenity was included and there were three grocery chains nearby within walking distance. Arriving very late after a flight delay we were greeted by Helena's mother who ensured we found everything to our liking before retiring to her apartment downstairs. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We ate breakfast at nearby cafes and walked downtown in about 15 minutes. I would recommend this property to people who enjoy walking or who are travelling by car. Helena is a kind host and an excellent communicator.

Tres joli appartement

Love the property!

This apartment was perfect for our stay! Helena and her mother are so sweet and accomodating, they really helped us out when we needed directions. The place itself is spacious, clean, and quiet and was exactly what we were looking for. We had every ammenity we needed and it was a perfect short walk to the supermarket. We had a great nights sleep and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Thank you so much! Next time we come back to Faro we would love to stay again. Great place! Obrigada!

Sehr schönes, sauberes kleines traditionelles Apartment mit allem was man benötigt.
