Welcome to Dippy cottage, grown up seaside chic at its best, this charming cottage will wrap you in its own special magic. Take a walk along the beach and then curl up in front of the wood burner with mugs of hot chocolate, or relax with a glass of wine in the private courtyard garden while you soak in the Sussex sunshine.

Nestled  in the seaside village of Little Common, with its history of smugglers, the cottage is a ten minute walk to the beach and the mainline train station of Cooden Beach. The cottage has off road parking.

Dippy Cottage, the small house with the big welcome, wraps you up in its magical rustic luxury.

Curl up and read a book in the cosy armchair by the log burner or snuggle together on the sofa while you enjoy a film. The main room with its vaulted ceiling and eclectic style offers the perfect escape.

Sink into bubbles in the claw foot roll top bath and let your worries soak away.

This shamelessly romantic bedroom with its king size four poster bed and beautiful beams opens up with bi-fold doors onto the quiet courtyard.

The secluded courtyard garden offers the perfect place to enjoy the Sunday papers over a lazy breakfast. Or relax with a glass of Bolly, and a candlelit supper while you unwind after your days adventures and the afternoon drifts into dusk.

Charming cottage, very welcoming host.

My husband and I stayed here while out home was having some remodelling done. It is beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The patio is just right, with fairy lights and plants. I highly recommend this cottage.

Super stay

Such an interesting property with such as lot of interesting pieces. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable from the start, it only took our dog a minute to bag the beautiful dog chair. The welcome hampers were amazing and the provisions were very welcome, thank you.

A fantastic stay at Dippy Cottage. Truly loved the decor, ambiance and hospitality. Jo has gone to great lengths to create a beautiful space with little touches that excite & enthrall. Nothing was too much trouble for our host which meant we had the best of times. I would not hesitate to recommend the host & property to anyone. Having worked within the travel industry for over 10 years this is one not to miss. Truly, Cooden beach, Bexhill is a hidden UK gem.

Wonderful, cosy cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway for two.

Great place with everything you need for a fantastic stay. We could not fault the place. Very lovely touch by the owner in leaving a hamper with prosecco, crisps, bread, biscuits etc. In the fridge was milk and butter. So generous and much appreciated.
