Wonderful apartment and pool

It was lovely. We had a brilliant time and Maria and her family made us very welcome. The apartment is just as good if not better and bigger than it looks and on our final evening Maria very kindly invited us for a delicious dinner of sea bass in their house. Highly recommended.

Rotes Appartement Villa Tonka in Makarska

Das Appartement bietet ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen, 2 Schlafzimmer für je ein Paar und ein Schlafzimmer für 2 Kinder, wobei ein Kind schwindelfrei sein sollte, da es sich um ein Hochbett handelt. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist sehr gut. Wir fühlten uns, als ob es nicht nur eine Ferienwohnung ist, sondern auch für längere Zeit unser Domizil sein könnte. Die Eigentümer sind sehr gastfreundlich und gaben uns bereitwillig Auskunft, sie wohnten über unsere Urlaubszeit nicht im Haus, kamen aber täglich, um nach dem Pool etc. zu sehen. Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen, am Rande zum Gebirge, -in die Stadt bzw. an den Strand hin und zurück zu laufen war uns zu weit. Man hat einen herrlichen Ausblick aufs Meer, den Hafen und die Insel Brac. Die Stadt Makarska bietet viele Unternehmensmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Cafés, Eisdielen sind zahlreich vorhanden, täglicher Markt mit frischem Obst und Gemüse, -generell eine lebendige Stadt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für größere Lebensmitteleinkäufe sind auch per Auto gut erreichbar. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gefallen und wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Beautiful, well-kept apartment with stunning views

We spent a "dream" vacation in this immaculate, tastefully decorated and completely equipped apartment. The common areas, including the swimming pool, were equally clean and well-maintained. Although it is a long walk or drive down to the center of town or to the beach, the peace and quiet of the hillside location is ideal. Morning coffee and sunset viewing on the terrace are the ultimate experiences; the spectacular views of the town below, the Adriatic and the facing islands are hard to match. Marija and her family were the perfect hosts. From meeting us as we first drove into town, to ordering a pizza for us weary travelers, to recommending the best beaches and restaurants, to finally indicating the most direct way out of town to the highway on a crowded Saturday morning, they were always available and superbly friendly at every moment. In short, we highly recommend Villa Tonka!

A lovely holiday

Before our arrival, the communication from Marija, the owner, was excellent and she was very helpful with all our questions. We were met at the bus station in Split by Marija and her husband and they drove us to the apartment. Again, they were very friendly. The apartment was excellent. Very clean and well maintained. The views were wonderful. The pool was very clean and our children loved it. We did not have a car and the apartment is on quite a steep hill. We did not mind this as we walked downhill to the resort and took a taxi back again. The resort itself was very busy (it was the school holidays) so we were very happy that it was so peaceful by the apartment. We spent many lazy days sitting around the pool, enjoying the sunshine and admiring the lovely view. A lovely holiday. Thank you Marija.

Exstremly helpful and friendly.

The apartment and pool kept wery good condition. We were wery satisfied - evrything was nice an clean. However, we where not so plased with the rest of outdoor area. It seemd unfinished , and was not a safe place for the one year old child. The wiew from the apartment was beautiful. We could watch å beautiful sunset evry day. The hosts were exstremly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed ourselfs wery much during the two weeks in Markaska.

very very nice place

We stayed in Pink Apartment in June. It was fantastic holiday, peace and quiet and standing panorama view. Apartment was extremely clean and nice equipment. Landlords are nice and helpful wait for us at the entrance of Makarska and drove in front of us to apartment. We will come back for sure.
