About this property

Farmhouse Wing - Stunning 2 bedroomed Farmhouse.

The Farmhouse Wing is a completely self-contained part of the old Farmhouse, that has been modernised throughout. The Farmhouse dates from the 17th Century and has all the interesting features and architecture you would expect from the time of Oliver Cromwell and the English Civil War! There is a lovely inglenook fireplace with modern log burning stove in the lounge, which has the original oak beams. There are 2 double en-suite bedrooms with feature beds - a stunning king-size Four-Poster and a lovely double French Chateaux Bed.

Pleasant country stay

This is one of several accommodations on a working farm. While we are a retired couple, we can understand how this stay would be great fun for families with young children with the sheep, goats, pigs, cows, and chickens all about. The location was convenient for exploring the local sites, was well as forays into north Wales. We appreciated the suggestions for the local restaurants which were quite good. The owners were always available to answer any questions.

Clean, comfortable and peaceful

Farmhouse was as depicted in photos, cosy, clean, well stocked and with a very comfortable lounge. Kitchen was spacious, clean and we had every amenity we needed......there was even a lovely chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival. Lots of animals to see and a lovely little private front garden with outdoor setting which we enjoyed using...... Sally-Ann and Dave were very friendly and accommodating and we took advantage of their advice re places to visit and to eat out which worked out really well for us. The location, whilst a couple of miles from town was quite convenient for us as we had a vehicle and were off to different places each day. Enjoyed our stay very much.
