The house was clean, very comfortable and very well equipped - however I would say it is more geared towards families than groups of adults. The main dining table only seated 7 and although there was another table in close vicinity, it’s not the same as all being seated together. Similarly with the seating arrangements, plenty of sofas and chairs, but spread over 2 rooms, perfect for children and adults, but for a party of 9 adults wanting to sit together it was a bit difficult - still we had a lovely weekend, excellent walking and Esther, the host was extremely responsive and very accommodating. Overall a lovely property which I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Thanks for your good review and being tidy guests. The dining tables do actually push together for large bookings and you can actually seat 12 on one big table if needed! Really was a ‘wonderful beach house’ Light, spacious, very comfortable house which was perfect for our extended family group of ten. Large beautiful garden with great outdoor sofas and dining area, and we really enjoyed using the paddle boards. Perfect 1-2 minutes walk to pebbled Bracklesham beach, and ten minutes drive to huge sandy stunning Wittering beaches. Very much hope to return!

We had a fantastic family holiday. Hilsea was just a great,well equipped lovely comfortable home from home . Kitchen great. Bedrooms great . Our Host was there when we needed to contact . Blessed with fab weather. So near the beach with bords and games and everything we needed for a wonderful time . Loved it. Thank you for having us .

The property inside and outside was homely, well equipped (e.g. beach towels, doggy bags, water sports equipment) and clean. The location was great and as described. We were ideally placed, close to the beach and to local amenities. We had a blind and an elderly person in our party and an improvement that would have helped us would be one or two more safety features e.g. a non-slip mat for the main shower and no rug under the table in the lounge. However we are aware that that is very specific to our circumstances. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Great place for our large family group. Well equipt kitchen. Plenty of space for the kids to play. 2 minute walk to the beach and the most beautiful garden for the dogs to enjoy.

The house was fantastic, very well appointed, had almost everything we could possibly need, including windbreaks, life jackets, a kayak and a couple of surf boards.Beautiful enclosed garden, safe for children and a dog.Beds were extremely comfortable and once heating was quickly sorted out, the whole house was warm and welcoming. Esther, the host, was fabulous and gave us another night to make up for the inconvenience of the first night!There was parking for at least 3 cars, and altogether we would all recommend this house if you want to be two minutes from the beach at Bracklesham bay

Lovely short stay

Lovely weekend stay

We are 7 ladies of a certain age and had a fabulous weekend, in November, staying here. Great location and perfect house with lots of space for us all. Esther was a great host and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful house

We had a great stay at Hilsea. The beach is very close by and the house was extremely well equipped. The host was able to sort out our check-in problem swiftly which was appreciated.
