This house is located on the property of Chateau des Ormeaux. It was completely restored in 2017 and offers an ideal place of relaxation and tranquility in a bucolic environment. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, it is a short distance from the Loire castles.
The house is on the ground floor with the garden, it hosts the comfortable living room with its sofa and large armchairs as well as a dining area.
In the extension is the fitted kitchen with direct access to the garden.
The bedroom where harmony and softness reigns, has quality bedding with a 160 cm bed, the bathroom with its walk-in shower is adjoining and comfortable with its heated towel radiator. Blackout curtains guarantee darkness.
The garden is walled, sun loungers, a barbecue and an outdoor table complete the set.
The 2 holiday homes owned by the chateau des Ormeaux, the Vernelle and the Closerie, have a private entrance with automatic gate. Tranquility and privacy guaranteed, the castle being at a distance.

Beautiful comfortable cottage

It was a beautiful comfortable cottage/villa in a quiet area with Amboise 10 minutes away. It’s ideal if you have dogs. We would stay here again if we come to Amboise again. We can’t rate it highly enough

Lovely private and peaceful cottage in the grounds of a chateau, owner Pascale was warm and welcoming, well equipped cottage, spotlessly clean. Pascale was always available for queries. Great location to cycle and explore surrounding area, just a few miles from Amboise, hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Perfect French experience

Pretty little cottage close to a chateau. Felt very authentic. Bicycles supplied enabled us to enjoy the surrounding without always the need for a car. Amboise was the loveliest town with some great places to eat and a winery within minutes. Our first visit to the area and we were so glad we chose this place.

Lovely little house

We had a wonderful stay in this pretty house. It is excellent for 2, nice furniture, good bed, en suite bathroom etc, very cosy. Garden was great, our dog loved it a lot too. Location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful, yet just 5 kms from Amboise and its restaurants and sights ans also in the centre of the Loire region. Pascale was a lovely and kind host, who speaks excellent English. We hope to return some day!

Superb Stay in the heart of the Loire

My husband, small dog and I stayed in La Closerie for a week in early September. The property is excellent for a couple, it's in a great location, minutes from Amboise with a great host who was very attentive to our well being, We even enjoyed delicious peaches from the tree in the garden! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend Padcale and her accommodation. We will hopefully be back again soon. Thank you!

Wir waren Anfang September für eine Woche dort und es war wunderbar. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet; es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage auf dem Parkgrundstück des Schlosses ist sehr ruhig; im privaten Garten gibt es einen Tisch und Liegestühle sowie eine Parkmöglichkeit für das Auto. Das braucht man dringend, auch wenn Amboise und andere kleinere Orte nur wenige km entfernt sind.Die Gastgeberin Pascale ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gleichzeitig diskret.Das Haus eignet sich perfekt als Augangspunkt für die Erkundung der Schlösser im Loire-Tal, da es ziemlich zentral gelegen ist. Man kann aber auch sehr gut einfach nur ein paar ruhige Tage genießen.

Très agréable séjour. Tout est parfait ! La maison est charmante, très bien agencée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le jardin est très mignon et la région est bien sûr magnifique. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse de l'accueil et l’écoute de Pascale. Nous recommandons sans réserve !

Visite pluvieuse des Châteaux fin septembre

Malgré une météo exécrable, nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 9 jours, au calme, dans la petite maison du château (pour 2 adultes). La maison est idéalement située pour, en voiture, aller visiter tout château de la région (max: 1h de route pour Chambord à l'Est). Il ne manque absolument rien à cette maison très joliment décorée. Entre 2 averses, nous avons même pu profiter des chaises longues et de la table dans le petit jardin ( mais pas du BBQ :) ). L'accueil et la communication avec la châtelaine a été parfait. R&JF

Luxe en stilte in prachtige vakantiewoning!

Heerlijk rustige locatie, stilte alom. De gastvrouw is ontzettend vriendelijk, verwende ons met verse eitjes en tomaten uit de moestuin. Ze is zeer bereikbaar maar met veel respect voor je privacy. Het huisje is prachtig en brandschoon, heel verzorgd. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving en op korte afstand van Amboise met mooie kastelen, het laatste verblijf van Leonardo daVinci en Chateau de Gaillard.

Geheimtipp im Loiretal

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Gästehaus mit guter Ausstattung in kleinem Châteaugarten. Das Haus liegt in schöner idyllischer Lage.Von dort aus kann man entspannt viele Châteaus gut erreichen und am Abend die Sonne im kleinen eigenen Garten genießen. Vermieterin hat uns herzlich mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk empfangen. Wir würden das La Closerie jederzeit wieder buchen.

Entzückendes Häuschen "La Closerie" mitten im Loiretal

Die Dame des Hauses "Pascale" hat uns sehr freundlich und als erfahrene Gastgeberin empfangen. Neben den persönlichen Informationen haben wir auch eine umfangreiche Mappe mit allem Wissenswerten, wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, etc. erhalten. Das Häuschen "La Closerie" entspricht exakt den Fotos (es wirkt in Natura eigentlich noch größer) und ist ein wahres Schmuchstück, in dem wir uns (Mutter und 16-jährige Tochter) sehr wohl gefühlt hatten und uns auch mal wunderbar aus dem Weg gehen konnten ;-) Ich empfehle diese Urlaubs-Destination uneingeschränkt weiter :-) Vielen Dank, Pascale, für die ausgezeichnete Betreuung!
