Chill out in our relaxing 3 bed family home, with lake views, near to Disney

Home from home!
Our family friendly, spacious, air conditioned, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalow has all the amenities and comforts of home, overlooking a beautiful lake, right in the heart of Disney!
We are situated in a quiet, select, security gated community only 5 miles from Disney's doorstep.

Our home is situated in a hidden gem of a waterfront gated community, Vista Del Lago, on Highway 192.
Comprising of detached, single storey bungalows, this sedate estate benefits from 24 hour manned gated security, requiring gate pass access and a reassuring 20 mile per hour speed limit, perfect for families!

Within the estate are 3 swimming pools and sunbathing areas, ideal for people watching and finding out a little local knowledge; 2 hot-tubs, a gym, saunas, media room, pool room, a floodlit tennis court, basketball, play area and more! All equipment can be hired for free from the on-site clubhouse - here you'll also find a little snack shop / cafe.
The clubhouse is 5 minutes walk from our house and sits alongside Racoon Lake. Here you can walk along a small sandy shore, have a BBQ, try your hand at fishing or admire the sunset from the wooden jetty.

Our home has lots of space to spread out and be comfortable. It features:
•1 master bedroom - queen bed, with en-suite and a walk-in wardrobe, large TV, additional ceiling fan
•1 double bedroom - queen bed, TV
•1 bedroom with a single bed and a set of children’s bunk-beds (not suitable for over 16 years), additional ceiling fan
•A cot and high chair are also available
•2 bathrooms
•Open plan kitchen, dining and living area, additional ceiling fans
•Large screen room, ceiling fans
•Utility with washing machine and tumble dryer
•Large screen TV, fridge freezer, microwave and all of the amenities you'd expect to find in a home. All towels and bedding is provided.
•Wifi

Check in after 4pm, check out by 10am.

Love golf? We are right next door to Orange Lake Championship golf course. Along Highway 192 are numerous restaurants and shops.

Angela's place is very convenient and a good value for money, it is located about 15-20 min away from disney so you wont be spending much time on the road, The house is well maintained and has all the needed amenities

Family trip to SeaWorld

We had a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children). This home was like a home away from home. Our children enjoyed it as much as we did. The guys fished and the younger kids played on the playground. We will be coming back to stay here.

Spacious house in a safe and quiet community

A spacious house in a very safe and quiet gated community, with friendly neighbors. The owner was very communicative and quick in responding all of my questions (I had a lot of them). She was also kind enough to offer us more time in the house due to Hurricane Ian making the end of our trip a bit turbulent! The stairs were a little inconvenient to my 80yo mom and so was the fact that there was no place to put things in the shower, other than the floor. Other than that, we had a good experience there.

My family and I stayed here over Christmas. It was a nice place to stay and close to Disney. If you are expecting the Ritz, this is not it. That is not meant as a bad thing, it is meant to set peoples expectations. If you are expecting a place the family can stay and be comfortable, you will be right at home. We enjoyed our stay and not having to share 1 bath was a big plus when it came time to get ready in the morning. The washer and dryer made it so we could bring less clothes and didn't have to bring dirty clothes home. Angela was very responsive to my questions. The complex is gated and was quiet most of the time we were there. Glad we had a good stay and good weather during our vacation.

Clean, roomy

We had 2 adults and 3 teens. The place was very clean. We had plenty of room to move around and eat. The bunks are a bit tough for teens but we made it work. Second bedroom and master were fine. Matrsses and sheets were older but serviceable. We did not need to contact manager for any reason. Pool area was clean, two pools, looked like opportunity for paddle boats, rec center, weight room but no information on how, when ,etc. We didn't have time for them anyway. It was great to check out, go for a final swim and be able to shower and change at the pool house.

Great crash pad

Had a wonderful stay

We stayed here for overnight sleeping. We didn't cook except to make tea each morning. We didn't use any of the facilities in the area because of Covid concerns. My family was visiting my mother who lives close by so this was excellent for us to visit them all day and return here to sleep at night. The bed is really comfortable and the shower was awesome. We only used one bedroom as our third guest stayed at my mom's house. We very much enjoyed your home.

Location + Comfort

When we found out that some good friends were going to be in Orlando on my husband's birthday, we looked for a place near Disney where we could make a good meal and eat together on a screened-in porch and drove up from southwest Florida to rendezvous. This place was perfect. Very clean, ten minutes from our friends' Disney hotel, more than adequate kitchen (though we brought a couple of items we knew we would need and were glad we did so but would have adjusted and managed without), a spacious porch, and overall a very nice residential area. The write-up listed a grill, but this turned out to be an old rusty one stuck in the ground at the community center, a long walk away. We connected with a friendly neighbor to borrow a grill and made a new friend. There are plenty of stores nearby if you need something and a range of restaurants. The outdoor bar at Miller's Alehouse is a good spot to watch some football. The Friar Tuck, a newly opened British pub in a nearby strip mall, has very good food, Bass on tap, and at least one incredibly charming server. We would stay here again and are happy to recommend it to others.

Perfect for what we needed

We were in Florida for a volleyball tournament. The home was in a perfect location for enjoying the tournament and the parks. Try out the new water park nearby (H2O). We felt safe and enjoyed time in the pools. Communicating with the owner was prompt.
