Lovely 4 bed house right next to town centre. 10 min walk to the train station, 25 min walk to Basildon hospital, 15 min walk to Festival leisure centre with nice restaurants and pubs. 20 min walk to the sporting village. Under half an hour's drive/train ride into Southend-on-Sea for a nice day by the sea front, southend airport, Lakeside shopping &just under an hour into central London on the C2C. The property is ideal for larger groups, contractors and larger families.

This beautiful home is ideally located for ease of access to Central London via C2C which takes you direct to London in 30mins. The house is ideally suitable for Contractors, people visiting Basildon Hospital , Larger families and Business Travellers. The house can sleep up to 8 people conveniently

Southend Airport is only 30mins away from this large beautiful home . All amenities you would need at home are provided, kitchen amenities, toiletries, hotel style towels and linens are provided for your comfort. The outdoor space is a large garden, big enough for enjoying a barbecue in the summer time when the weather permits
This home is in a quiet residential area where you can relax and enjoy after a full day at work away from the hustle and bustle of central London.

The property was clean, the person in charge was very polite and accommodating. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. She was very easy to communicate with. Felt like I was home.

Terrible stay in Basildon

By far the worst stay ever. Here is what we dealt with: Upon arrival huge pile of trash on the street next to house. Torn bags overflowing. Interior: walls and stair rails scuffed and dirty. Stained blue sofa in living room and scuffs on leather sofa. Living room curtains filled with holes. No directions for tv, Wi-Fi, trash pickup etc. Bulbs blown in several light fixtures. Cobwebs and dead spiders in corners. House clearly was not deep cleaned. No shower curtain. One roll of toilet paper for 4 people. One towel per person. Mattresses super hard and uncomfortable in every room. I ended up having to sleep on the hard stained sofa every night. Exterior. Rotted eves with pigeons nesting which woke us up every morning at 4am. There is no sunroom per the listing. Washing line was a string with no clips. Paint peeling off house. Family of 5 foxes living in back rotting shed hunting for food. They came out every day. Kids didn’t feel safe going out there. Unmowed lawn. Sharp object where the sunroom was supposed to be coming out of the ground. Smell of gas coming from under stairs. The quality of property does not match the price.

Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We kindly advice our guests to contact us as soon as they notice anything in the property that may negatively impact their stay so we can resolve the issue immediately where possible. It is unfortunate that your arrival coincided with rubbish collection in the area, the good thing is that as you may have noticed, once that is over the place returns to an ordinary residential look. You will be pleased to know that the wear and tear on the inside of the house has now been sorted. We thank you for the feedback. Our self catering accommodation provides all the necessary amenities for your arrival before you can stock up for your stay. Washing facilities are available including an airing rail in the downstairs cupboard to enable you to wash and air your laundry outside weather permitting. We have unfortunately not been able to locate the animals you saw but would like to assure you that the brick and mortar shed in the garden is a very safe place to place black bags with rubbish while waiting for collection as our council does not do bins. With improvements being continuously made on all our properties all the time, we look forward to welcoming you back for a better experience at this particular house and hope this time your back will not stop you enjoying our comfortable beds.
