A sui generis wooden house of 35 sq m situated in 1000 sq m private grass plot, built from scratch by the owners. Decorated with wooden furniture of unique style, designed and handcrafted by our family industry. Offers a truly romantic and relaxing view of the beautiful landscape, the minute you open your eyes.

The open-plan space of the interior consists of the living room, the kitchen and a bedroom set which accommodates comfortably two persons on the queen sized latex anatomic mattress.

This wonderful accommodation has a spectacular view, from inside the house as from the garden, towards the Kaminia beach, Zante island and the Ionian sea.

In addition to the aforementioned, you will also have the luxury to choose to sleep in total comfort under the glittering stars, in the adjacent open air, hand carved bedroom structure, to sunbathe on the sun loungers, dine or have a drink on the dining table or the outdoors sofa set, under the trees, overlooking the breathtaking Mediterranean.

Leave the others crowded in the hip places and indulge yourself in your own little paradise! Make sure you don’t miss the magnificent sunrise and sunset, embrace the tranquility of the exquisite view of endless blue and green; it’s just you, the sky, the lush hills and the infinite sea!

Our house is in the spacious environment of beautiful Ratzakli, a traditional, quiet village, with easy access and positive energy, which lies between two of the most popular touristic destinations on the island, Skala and Katelios.

Only 2 minutes by car (750m) or 8-10 min walking from the crystal clear and turquoise blue waters sandy beach Kaminia (5.4km long) where the Caretta-Caretta sea turtles lay their eggs. You can find there a local tavern and three kiosks for coffee, fresh juices, beers, burgers, salads, hot plates etc.

Katelios village is in 3.9 km distance with great fish taverns, mini markets and local shops.

At 3.7 km Skala village provides a more touristic aspect, with restaurants, bars super markets, local shops and a beautiful long beach with sea sports, sunbeds etc.

Ratzakli is connected 2 times per day by a bus line with Skala, Katelios and other notable destinations like Poros port (17 km), the airport (31.4 km) and Argostoli (32.8 km), the capital of the island.

The most convenient way to explore the surroundings is by renting a car or a motorcycle.

The special wood house

We spend 15 special days in the wood house. Thanks to Panos and Mario for everything. Privacy, wonderful wiew, barbecue and relax made our holiday perfect. Hope to come back again in the future. Saveria and Giancarlo

Super nice location, beautiful view, everything what you need

Had a great stay. Loved the view, the garden, the overall location as well as garden equipment. Checkin process was easy (owner was 100% flexible and adapted to delayed flight). Overall communication and recommendations of owner were also great and super responsive. A couple of remarks: Online listing was a bit confusing for us as it said living room and bed room. In fact it is one room that is smaller than 35 m2. Probably 30m2 overall. If you stay longer be aware that there is almost no storage space for clothes (so we lived out of the suitcase for 8 days). And there is no washing machine. Laundry costs 15€ per (small) plastic bag. Garden chairs and Co are great. However the mattresses are stored on a upper level in the small house and it is a huge effort to get them Out. So we actually never used the wonderful garden beds. Be aware that there is a street just next to the house with pretty frequent traffic. Not super noisy but northern very calm.
