Nice apartment and close to the Sassi.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Parking the car was not a problem as there are spaces on the street near the apartment. Just look for the white lines and those spaces are free. The walk to the historic center and the Sassi are only five minutes away. Matera is full of friendly and helpful people. We ate twice at Trattoria Lucana which Rossano recommended and it was delicious. All in all, we had a wonderful stay.

Très bel appartement, mieux que sur les photos

A env 10 min a pieds du centre historique, cet appartement est idéal pour passer quelques nuits à Matera. Rossano est un jeune homme très sympathique, et disponible si besoin. L'appartement dispose de tout le confort nécessaire et est à proximité de commerces de tout type. Nous y avons passer 2 nuits très agréables.

Appartamento silenzioso vicino al centro storico

L'appartamento è un trilocale luminoso, completamente rinnovato e spazioso, che si trova al terzo piano di un condominio caratteristico a due passi dal centro storico di Matera. Non c'è l'ascensore, per cui chi ha problemi di deambulazione può essere in difficoltà a salire le scale, ma in compenso si tratta di una residenza veramente silenziosa e tranquilla. La camera principale è arredata con mobili di buona fattura, l'altra è pensata per i ragazzi. I letti sono comodi. L'angolo cottura è grande ed attrezzato di tutto, il tavolo della sala è grande. La stanza da bagno è comoda, la doccia funzionante, c'erano tutti gli accessori necessari, compreso il phon. In sala c'è l'aria condizionata, ma non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno. Ci sono televisione e Wi-Fi. La biancheria era pulita, compreso un numero più che sufficiente di salviette. Il proprietario, persona molto distinta ed affidabile, si era reso disponibile a trovarci un parcheggio gratuito in zona, ma ne abbiamo trovato uno senza difficoltà proprio di fronte al condominio. È stato puntuale al check-in e ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni necessarie. Il check-out è stato rapido. Le tasse di soggiorno erano incluse. In conclusione: ci siamo trovati molto bene. Non bastano due giorni per visitare Matera, e se avessimo la possibilità di tornare, prenderemmo certamente in considerazione di nuovo questo posto.

The property is in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted

Apartment was very clean and lots of room. I’m not certain what happened because I had emailed we would be at property between 4-5 pm and I told them I was having problems with my phone and I couldn’t text or email. Well no one was there, then the phone number I had didn’t work. At 5pm no one at property so I went to find a free WiFi to text them. Finally someone came. I paid for two bedrooms but one was locked and not cleaned. I had told manager only two people coming rather than four but I did not tell them I didn’t need the second bedroom. A lady came and cleaned it. There was no WiFi the first night (which we really needed because phones weee not working) We didn’t have access to the wash machine or balcony. The manager said he came the next morning with breakfast because we didn’t have WiFi. I think we heard the door bell very early but we were sleeping. We had WiFi next morning and had a great time. Parking is a job. If you come in very late you might not find parking very close. I do believe there was a garage about two blocks. Not certain of cost. I would stay here again.
