THE VILLA
Villa Alvinho is located in a privileged residential area, without traffic, close by the sea and a few minutes from Funchal city center and its touristic area. It is also where “Levada dos Piornais” pass through, one of the most famous and ancient trekking paths of the island which connects its two largest municipalities (Funchal and Câmara de Lobos), offering the perfect combination of “Lifestyle&Nature”.

Located just above "Quinta da Casa Branca", one of the most beautiful and luxurious boutique hotels on the island, Villa surroundings offers a wide range of restaurants, bars, easy access to public transportation and all facilities (supermarkets, banks, shopping centers, casino, rent a cars, cinemas, etc.).

Between the city and the countryside, Villa Alvinho is part of "SOUL Madeira - charming villas" collection and was designed exclusively for tourism. This charming Villa was prepared with care to receive families, couples or groups of friends who want to visit and explore Madeira Island. Guests will have at their disposal a Villa that offers privacy, large and comfortable spaces in an intimate atmosphere, a hipchic style decoration and beautiful views of Funchal sea and Desertas Islands.

INSIDE:
Its interior is very spacious, with a living room with entrance hall, 3 suites, 4 WC's and 1 fully equipped kitchen with laundry.

On the 1st floor there are two suites with balconies: one facing north/mountains and another facing south/sea. The third suite is on the ground floor with direct access to the terrace and living room.

The Villa has a large fully glassed living room facing the swimming pool and Atlantic Ocean.

The kitchen follows an American style (open to the living room) and was designed to enhance the conviviality among guests while they cook and relax. The dining area has a long dining table that seats 8 people and a counter connecting the kitchen, the perfect solution for a get-together in an environment that invites dialogue and socialization.

Kitchen style is modern with some retro elements and is fully equipped. The kitchen is also connected to the barbecue area through an interior window in order to make food and drinks logistics more easy.

There is also a completed laundry room.

OUTSIDE:
The terrace and garden are facing south with excellent sun exposure, spacious and with panoramic views over Funchal Bay and Desertas islands. In addition to the "Laurissilva", the garden has a small area where you can pick spices and herbs for cooking.

The Villa offers several sun loungers, hammocks and lounges to relax, enjoy al fresco dining and make the most of your holiday.

Private heated pool (24h access) with an external hot water shower (28ºC).

Fully equipped outdoor barbecue with firewood included.

Villa Alvinho has Direct car access from the main street.

AT GUESTS' DISPOSAL:
As a courtesy, Villa Alvinho offers you a small welcome basket with some products (bread, water, milk, tea, butter, cheese, ham ...) and a regional wine.

All linen and towels are provided, including pool towels.

For stays longer than one week, an intermediate cleaning is provided free of charge for each week.

All children are welcome. The house is ready to receive them and we have a baby crib and a baby chair available (upon prior consultation).

Wifi connection in every places of the house, sound speakers for Iphone / MP3, TV, hair dryers in all suites, coffee / tea maker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, gin glasses, wine, etc., will be available for guests' use.

The Villa is equipped with first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket, as required by law.

HEATED POOL:
* Heating service is an optional extra that will have a 20 € / day additional cost to cover electricity expenses (28ºC).
** We kindly ask guests to confirm us up to one week before checking in, so that the pool has the right temperature upon your arrival.
*** This service is valid for the entire stay.

Villa Alvinho offers an exclusive guidebook with local and special tips for its guests, which will be provided some time before your arrival (in PDF). The guidebook has been highly praised by guests and offers information’s on local experiences that a regular tourist guidebook usually does not offer.

The Villa operates under self-catering modus but we are always available to provide information’s, tips or support on any questions that you may have, via mobile phone or email.

The famous trekking path "Levada dos Piornais" passes through Villa Alvinho and connects the 2 largest Madeira counties (Funchal and Câmara de Lobos).
