A special house in the middle of the hidden Olatz valley, surrounded by nature, peace and tranquility. In addition to its large garden, its location makes it the ideal accommodation for a break as a couple or as a family.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

Ugaitz's home is located in Olatz, MUTRIKU (Gipuzkoa), 20830, Spain.
Quiet, special and well-known neighborhood in the area, located in the heart of the Basque Coast Geopark. It has a restaurant a few meters from the house. Possibility of doing guided tours in the area, including a visit to the Goienetxe farmhouse, where you can experience first-hand the elaboration of its Idiazabal cheese, winner of several awards.

HOW TO MOVE:

Private transportation is necessary to get to the area (5 minutes by car from the town center), although if you have enough time the town is just 20 minutes away on foot.

Very nice and convenient house in a beautiful environment!

The house and its garden has a lovely look & feel. It was clean, offers a lot of space and is well equipped. It is in the middle of Geopark which is really beautiful and perfect for hiking/biking trips. Also the beach is relatively nearby and of course Bilbao and San Sebastian are a must to visit. Last but not least we experienced a warm welcome from the host, communication was good, we received always a fast response in case of questions.

The house is set in a beautiful valley. Lovely decor and good facilities throughout. Spotlessly clean and warm. Nice outdoor space. Plenty of room for 6. Communication from owners was excellent and they were very helpful with our late arrival. 10 minutes from beautiful Mutriku. Car essential. Some lovely beaches and fishing villages within 30 minutes. Good info pack to help plan the week. We loved visiting sidreria saizar where we had steak and cider from the barrel. Great meal at Piper in Mutriku. Day out in Bilbao also great. It is well located halfway between Bilbao and SAN Sebastián. Bear in mind the valley of Olatz is located 10 minutes along winding country roads from Mutriku. We all agreed it was the best Airbnb/HomeAway we have stayed in. Would definitely return if we came to this area of Spain.

Wundervoll und idyllisch!

Traumhaft in einen kleinen Tal oberhalb von Mutriku gelegen. Es war sehr erholsam. Alles wie beschrieben, sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieterin. In Mutriku gibt es ein schönes Naturschwimmbecken und Wanderungen durch den Geopark sind möglich (und schön!). Erdbeeren asko! 😊

Ruhiges, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus

Wir haben 6 Tage in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist funktional, recht neu und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist abschieden und ruhig, also im Vergleich zu den touristischen, teils überlaufenen Küstenorten genau das, was wir suchten. Wer den etwas längeren Weg zu den Stränden der Region nicht scheut, dafür aber mehr Wert auf Ruhe und Entspannung legt, ist hier richtig. Check-In und Check-Out waren unkompliziert, die Einweisung vor Ort sehr freundlich, ebenso auch die Unterstützung bei Fragen.

La casa perfectamente limpia, grande y espaciosa, muy cómoda , no le falta nada. Cuidado el más mínimo detalle, y decorada con mucho gusto. El entorno de cuento, rodeado de naturaleza, vacas , caballos, los niños alucinaron. Y los anfitriones... maravillosos. Ainara super atenta, nos dio todas las facilidades, estuvo pendiente de cada petición y duda que teníamos. Nos dio ideas de que hacer , restaurantes, rutas, y fueron flexibles en los horarios. Repetiremos sin dudarlo. El tienpo nos acompañó, asi que simplemente nuestras vacaciones fueron PERFECTAS. Gracias !!!!!

Inmejorable

Hemos estado una semana en esta casa y la experiencia ha sido fenomenal. Casa amplia, limpia y con todo lo necesario. El entorno en el valle de Olatz espectacular. Bien situada para hacer excursiones y conocer el país Vasco así como para ir a playas cercanas, o simplemente para quedarse en la casa y disfrutar del precioso valle o hacer algo de senderismo. El Camino de Santiago le pasa por la misma puerta. Ugaitz y Ainara amables, atentos y muy flexibles, tanto para la entrada como para la salida. En definitiva, inmejorable.

séjour formidable

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la maison d'Ugaitz et Ainara. Le site de la maison est remarquable, on a du mal à croire que l'on est à 4 km de la mer. La maison a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour, les pièces sont spacieuses et décorées avec goût. En plus nous avons eu une météo parfaite. Pour finir Ugaitz et Ainara sont très sympas et accueillants, ils ont été à l'écoute de tous nos besoins. Bref, un séjour reposant qui nous a permis de découvrir une culture forte.

Casa Espectacular en un entorno de ensueño!!

Hemos estados estos días en esta casa y ha sido un lujo, Ainara fantástica en la bienvenida, la casa no le hacen justicia las fotos, es preciosa. Y el entorno dentro del Geoparque era de postal. No dudamos en repetir si podemos a futuro!!

Una casa preciosa y bien equipada en una ubicación privilegiada

Nuestra estancia en esta casa de Mutriku fue simplemente perfecta. Tanto la casa en sí, que tiene todo lo que una familia puede necesitar (lavavajillas, utensilios de cocina, smart TV, barbacoa, sillas, hamacas, camas comodísimas, mantas, toallas, etc.) y está decorada con mucho cariño, como su ubicación en un entorno verde y pintoresco (por ahí pasa un tramo del Camino de Santiago) hicieron de nuestro viaje al País Vasco una experiencia inolvidable. La casa se encuentra en la pequeña población de Olatz, muy cercana a Mutriku y Deba, es tranquila y nos parece perfecta para descubrir Vizcaya y Guipúzcoa o simplemente relajarse en plena naturaleza. Ugaitz y Ainara fueron son geniales. Son super cercanos, amables y atentos; y nos dieron muchos consejos desde restaurantes hasta caminatas y sitios que visitar. Además, se toman muy en serio las medidas de higiene y desinfección de la casa, que encontramos impoluta a nuestra llegada y que también estaba equipada con gel hidroalcólico a la entrada. ¡Solo podemos recomendar esta casa y esperar poder volver muy pronto!

Repetiría sin dudarlo

La casa se encuentra en un entorno espectacular, lleno de rutas de senderismo, cercano a la playa y a muchas ciudades que merecen verse. Al llegar todo estaba muy limpio y ordenado . Nos sentimos como en nuestra propia casa. Los propietarios nos hicieron la estancia agradable y nos atendieron con mucha amabilidad. Tenemos que repetir , eso seguro!!!
