This was a great apartment and Veronica is a great host! Sitting on the massive terrace sipping wine was perfect, even though we got a lot of rain. Ate twice at Taverna Caprese and highky recommend. Our stay was delightful.

Great place in Bari

This apartment it’s in a secured building with a lovely rooftop patio. Veronica was communicative and met us at the door to help us get oriented and settled. We walked everywhere. This is 10-15 minutes from anywhere you want to go in Bari!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed. We went to Casa del Pane every morning (except Sunday) for a cappuccino. There are lots of little markets close by. The public transportation is fantastic - we took both the train and the bus for sight seeing. I would stay there again. There is a lift - but we made ourselves take the stairs every time!

Beautiful home base in Bari

We could not have had a better host than Veronica. She is so kind, generous and responsive. She met us at the apartment and explained how everything worked. The listing was exactly as shown — bright, well equipped, with all the comforts of home, and with a fantastic terrace where we enjoyed our morning coffee. We stayed for a whole month and were sad to say goodbye to our “home” and to Bari. Thanks, Veronica, for everything!

Wonderful Penthouse in Bari

We stayed in this beautiful Penthouse for 10 days. We are seniors escaping winter and always look for a well equipped kitchen. This home provides everything you need for preparing meals and storing leftovers for another meal. There is a huge market within a 7 minute walk where we ventured everyday except Sunday. Also there is a Carrfour for purchasing other items. The bed is super comfortable. The best thing fior us was the BBQ and outside eating area on a huge patio. We would love to have stayed longer but had to continue our journey thru Italy and head south to warmer places.? Well worth the money and more so. Thanks for the great home you provided us.

Great location and service

Our host, Veronica, clearly communicated with us in advance and met us as promised for check-in. She also responded promptly to questions we had about operation of apartment systems. The location is very close to train station and a 20 minute walk to the old town. It is a shorter walk to the many pedestrian streets with restaurants and wine bars. My traveling companion had a list of "must try" restaurants and wine bars to try and we found all of them within 15 minute walk. The apartment was as promised. We had a very early flight to catch when leaving. Veronica arranged a reliable taxi that showed up at 4AM! This was such a relief and a great end to our stay in our Bari apartment.

The apartment was beautiful but the lift being broken put a downer on our stsy

Because the lift was broken it limited our access to the apartment so we did not go out to experience bari as much as we would like I think for this inconveniance we should have been compensated especially getting our bags up and down

excellent host super apartment

Veronica was there to greet me and then spent 30 minutes ensuring that I knew where everything was in the flat and how it worked. She thinks of what you migtht need Apart from tea coffee olive oil loo roll, we provides an A to Z of extras, well A to X ,, with A being spare AA batteries to X for Xmas tree;. The beds are comfortable and the AC very effective. The terrace is superb, well equipped; For the sunworshipper, bathed in sun from 8 till 6. Then the sun disappears behind the building ansd is cool; and shaded, ideal for eating relaxing cooli,ng down: The area is full of tino shops catering for ammost any need; 8 minutes to the main shopping streets, 15 to Lungilago, and 20 to centro storico; The train station from the aitpott Qunitino Sella is 200 meters from the apartment but if you miss that stop, Centrale is only 8 minutes away; Veronica is always available on WhatsApp not that there is muc need. We will be back.

REVIEWS ARE SUBJECTIVE; AS A SEASONED TRAVELER, THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE!

I basically booked this apartment for 2 reasons; the great reviews, and the large rooftop. We rented it for 15 nights and were quite excited -until we were dropped off in front of the building. The building next door was under construction with a giant crane and scaffolding overhead, which extended to our building. The sidewalk was dirty, with overfilled garbage bins out front. Upon entry we found the lobby to be in poor shape. The elevator was a plus. Veronika was a nice lady and the apartment was clean and in good shape, though some of the floor needed repair. The rooftop, though offering no view, was as shown. The location was convenient to train and city center, but the immediate area was not so desirable, with some homeless sleeping in doorways. The neighborhoods closer to city center were much cleaner and upper class. Aside from the negative things I have mentioned, my main reason for the 3-Star review is that on a Monday, major street construction started.This included hours of jack-hammering, back hoe digging, etc, which shook the entire building, and sent dust and dirt onto the rooftop.The workers explained it would continue for the next few days. I decided to book a hotel for the next 2 nights. When we returned we learned that there would be no water and power from 8am to 3pm the next day. I notified the host, who simply said it was not her fault. I get it, but we were the ones who paid and suffered. Staying here was the worst part of our trip. I can't recommend!

Mi dispiace per la tua spiacevole esperienza, ma purtroppo, il 24 luglio 2024, data nella quale hai effettuato la prenotazione, non potevo prevedere che il Comune di Bari stabilisse dei lavori di rifacimento della strada e delle zone circostanti la proprietà nella data del 16 aprile 2025, dopo 10 giorni (spero non pessimi come gli ultimi 4 giorni) di vostro soggiorno...l’intero quartiere ha subito dei disagi dalle ore 8:00 alle ore15:00, allertati da molti avvisi comunali affissi in strada nei precedenti giorni.. E' stata mia cura offrirvi ospitalità per quelle ore in un albergo a mie spese, ma avete rifiutato. Per questo motivo vi ho rimborsato parzialmente per il disagio subito. Il quartiere dove si trova Vuemme97 non è un quartiere residenziale, ma tranquillo e molto vicino al centro cittadino, 5 minuti di cammino lo sapete bene, ed offre un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Il problema dei senzatetto, purtroppo, è presente in tutte le città, Bari compresa. Bari è una città meravigliosa e i lavori per migliorare strade o palazzi servono per renderla ancora più bella. Cerco di offrire il meglio ai miei ospiti, ma a volte non siamo noi a decidere di ciò che accade intorno. Vi auguro tutto il meglio, Veronica.

Super stay

Veronica greeted us warmly and was very friendly, helpful and approachable. The apartment was attractive, bright and homely and had everything for a very comfortable 6 night stay. Although it was convenient for the train station and Bari sites it was nevertheless quiet. If we return to Bari we would definiteley stay at Vuemme 97 again.

It really is a beautiful penthouse!!

We had a very enjoyable two nights at 97-Beautiful Penthouse. Not only was the apartment clean, large (with an enormous rooftop terrace), and convenient to everything, but the hostesses gave us such a warm and wonderful welcome! I wish we could have stayed longer!
