Our holiday home is located at the foot of the Flemish Ardennes, with its many signposted hiking and cycling trails. Oudenaarde is widely known as the arrival place of the Tour of Flanders. The property itself is in a very quiet location with the city park at the rear. The market with its many food and beverage houses is 700 m away.
Bakers, butchers and department stores are nearby. The Tour of Flanders Center Museum is also within walking distance.
The house has 2 bedrooms with a double bed. In each bedroom there is always a sofa bed.
In addition to the living area downstairs, there is also a sofa bed. Upstairs there is another toilet with sink.
Downstairs there is a spacious living room, an open kitchen and a bathroom with rain shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchen utensils. There is a dishwasher. The home is equipped with comfortable underfloor heating. Outside there is a spacious terrace, south facing with garden furniture. There is a private garden and a large private garage with the possibility to park your car and bicycles. In the garage is a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is also a private parking space adjacent to the garage. Oudenaarde was in the hands of Louis IX at the time, his faithful architect VAUBAN then signed the town fortress of Oudenaarde, with its many ravelins. The only visible ravelin in Belgium is at the back of the house, which is why we have chosen the name VAUBAN
