Beach View - an peaceful paradise in an ideal location. Want to get out and about? Broad Haven’s huge dog friendly beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are less than a 2 minute walk away. Want to relax? The view of the sea from the house creates the perfect setting for a lazy day on the patio with a good book and a G&T. Broad Haven’s starry skies are hard to beat. Ever wanted to sleep under the night sky in comfort? Beach View’s roof windows and comfy king-sized bed are just the job. Let the waves lull you to sleep under the gaze of the stars and wake to spectacular views out over the bay as you sip your morning cuppa. We also have blackout blinds for those that want a leisurely lie in. Whilst Broad Haven/Little Haven have a range of eateries, Beach View’s well equipped kitchen with soaring double height ceiling has everything you need if you want to dine at home. Three steps lead down from the kitchen to the open-plan dining room/lounge with doors out onto the patio for a refreshing sundowner and al fresco dining. Sit back and relax and watch the sky turn to gold as the sun slowly sinks into the sea. Stairs lead from the kitchen to the bedroom and contemporary en suite shower room set behind a wall of opaque sea-coloured glass. Broad Haven is a hive of activity offering a local mini market, a pub, café/restaurant, fish and chips, surf hire and the opportunity to do a little kayaking, canoeing, hiking and coasteering. Little Haven - just a mile away - has a further 3 pubs to choose from and a sensational crab and lobster sandwich bar. Slightly further afield, boat trips are available out to see the puffins on Skomer or the seals, whales, dolphins and the myriad of birds that frequent the bay. Beach View welcomes your pet. Due to the size of the property we recommend just 1 dog. Please note: * The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep and OPEN TREAD. For your pet's own safety we recommend that they remain downstairs. * Beach View patio is now FULLY ENCLOSED. Some of our photos don't reflect this. If you want your pet to go on the sofa or snuggle up with you in bed then we do ask that you bring your own throws and bedding. Please inform Martyn and Hilary if you wish to do this. * Due to the number of passers by Beach View is not suited to a reactive dog .

Perfect place for a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable, thoughtfully designed and decorated. We had everything we needed. An evening walk along the coast path was stunning. Visit out to Skomer was a treat. .
Exactly what we was after - few minutes walk to the beach, clean and you could tell Hilary was a thoughtful and organized host, always on hand to assist with anything we needed!
Wonderful cottage, lovely views, everything you need, would highly recommend
Nice cottage, very clean, had a great time on the beach with the dog, she loved it, nice places to eat out and have a few drinks, shop easy to get too. Just stunning scenery, beautiful.
We had never been to the Pembrokeshire coast before so booked this property as it is a close as you can get to actually staying on the Pembrokeshire coast path. Easy to find and everything you could want for a holiday. Short walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants. Mezzanine bedroom is a plus on a clear night.
Very clean, modern, more than enough space for 2 people, owners communication was brilliant, everything you needed was there, I love being near sea so this was perfect about 2/3 minutes walk to beach/sea/town. Views from bedroom were amazing and from patio. Very relaxing would highly recommend.
Had a wonderful holiday and certainly dropped on with the weather. Loved the accommodation, modern, comfortable and so so clean. The facilities were spot on and exceeded my expectations. Must say the kitchen was superb. Loved our stay and Broad Haven is a great location stay in and explore Pembrokeshire.
We had a lovely week long stay and the accommodation was more than we'd expected or hoped for when we booked the holiday. Every detail has been carefully planned to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. The views of the ocean are spectacular and the skylights in the bedroom provide breathtaking views day and night. It is a truly special place and dog friendly!
Comfortable and well equipped house- with everything you could want for a relaxing break. Location is great- just a short walk to paddle or body board in the sea, walk the Pembrokeshire coastal paths or enjoy the sea front at Broad Haven. Friendly hosts- easy to communicate with and generous with a lovely welcome pack. Hope to return again!
Everything was clean and fresh. Stairs to bedroom a little steep. Just a small point - would have been useful to be able to enter at the rear through the patio door.
A cosy, comfortable and spacious property.
The great weather was the icing on the cake
The property was in an excellent location with a great view from upstairs or downstairs. The property is well designed for the available space. The steep open stairs can be awkward for the less able. That's information not a criticism. The equipment was thoughtful and very useful from kitchen right through to the bathroom and beyond to the lounge. The bedroom is a feature. There is a private sunning area and even a dog shower. Had a problem with the hot water one morning phoned at 8:30am sorted and working again by 09:30am man was there to fix by 8:35am. Excellent service. Would recommend time and again.
Loved stargazing at night from the bed, wonderful sunsets, bed very comfortable. Great location to access many coastal walks in south and north Pembrokeshire. Kitchen and appliances were ideal for 2. Shower energetic so water strays outside the tray with door shut.
We had a lovely stay in this well equiped one bed house / cottage. The views are amazing and so is the local area, this was our first trip to the area and Wales and we had a lovely time. Hilary was very helpful prior to our arrival and the small garden is a sun trap (sun burnt despite it only being 16 degrees)
The only criticisms we had were the property could possibly do with Netflix or something similar, bit this wasn't a big deal.
Also some small recycling bags to accomidate all the splitting we had to do of our rubbish due to Welsh recycling laws.
Lastly the heating was a little difficult to figure out and came on at times but didn't on other days (fortunately it wasn't too cold so didnt ruin it for us and we could have messaged Hilary if we really wanted to sort it out.
Overall a fab holiday experience, a lovely property with everything supplied such as binoculars for the views, umbrellas in case it rains (it didnt for us) a fan upstairs, games, books etc.
We certainly will consider going back at some point 😊
Property was perfect for two and a dog. Everything you need for a week or more and the patio is a great place to relax in the sun looking out to the beach and sea.
Thank u so much Hilary we had a fab stay.will come again such an easy place to stay just a short walk to an amazing beach.xx

Lovely break in lovely apartment by the beach
My husband and myself had a lovely stay in this apartment in July this year. It is ideally placed, just being a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is beautifully furnished, well maintained and clean with all utilities required. A great location, with plenty to see and do with lots of great places to eat nearby. We especially loved that at night with the sky light windows you could either look out at the the sea or gaze up at the stars. I would definately recommend this as a great place to stay. The owners were also extremely helpful and welcoming.

Very nice great views and nice finish
For a couple for 4 nights on a quiet break it was ideal. The back of the property is a little sun trap. There is a five minute walk to the beach. The bedroom Windows let you see the night sky and the beach from the bed. Great.

About the host
Hosted by Martyn and Hilary Brookes
On our very first visit to Broad Haven as we drove down the hill to the village Martyn and I were blown away by the views. After 24 years of living in the foothills of the Alps we hadn't realized just how much we had missed the sea. We were hooked from the word go. Now, 15 years later, we still never tire of the views of St Bride’s Bay from our house and the wonderfully friendly community of Broad Haven. Having worked in tourism for over 40 years we pride ourselves in doing our very best to provide the perfect setting for your holiday. We want your holiday to be relaxing and fun and are always available at the end of a phone to do anything we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Why they chose this property
We love the feeling of peace and tranquility. Falling asleep with the stars above and the sound of the waves gently lapping the beach is truly special. On our very first visit, as we watched as the sun slowly sink into the sea we knew that this feeling of freedom and tranquility was extraordinary and the perfect holiday setting. Gazing out to sea knowing we realized that there is nothing between us and America except the vast expanse of an ever-changing sky and the sea.
