Beautiful fully renovated detached villa with private pool

Welcome to Casa Velasquez.
Our holiday home is located in Torrevieja, a fishing village in Alicante. Just 10 minutes from the busy city life you will find our newly renovated holiday home! The house offers sleeping accomodation for 8 people: 2 double bedrooms and 1 extra large bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds; 2 bathrooms, fully newly fitted kitchen with all comfort (including dishwasher, microwave, oven, etc.), large lounge, dining room, porch and storage room with washing machine. At the back there is a spacious terrace and a private swimming pool of 13m x 5m. Towels and sheets are also provided.
There is also air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and everything you need to enjoy your holiday.
Within walking distance there is a shop, pharmacy, hairdresser, bakery, bank and various restaurants. With the car you are 5 minutes away from the big warehouse and hospital and the well-known salt lakes. Torrevieja town center with many shops, restaurants and the fishing port can be reached within 10 minutes by car, same as Torrevieja beach, Guardamar and La Mata. The cosy villages around Torrevieja, such as Guardamar, Orihuela, Montesinos are well worth a visit. Almost every day there is a market in the neighborhood! At one hour drive you will find many other attractions such as the Elche Gardens, the city of Alicante and Murcia, the beautiful port of Santa Pola, Benidorm, the beautiful castle and the falls in Guadalest, ....
By car from Brussels you reach us after about 1950 kilometers, by plane from Brussels you are at 2h30 min approximately at the airport of Alicante or Murcia, both at about 40 minutes from Casa Velasquez. Several airlines fly on Alicante: TuiFly, Ryanair, Vueling, SN Airlines, Iberia ...

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa, nice and clean and all that you need. Lots of outdoor furniture, all in good condition. Comfortable bed which means a lot to us! Good communication with Julian. Car is essential as lots of lovely areas to visit. Thank you.

Lovely Villa

Lovely clean villa with fabulous pool in a quiet area. The only negative with the villa, for our group was the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. The upper bedrooms had ceiling fans but were very noisy on the useful setting so we struggled to sleep well in the heat. The villa is around 10 minute taxi ride away from Torrevieja and cost around €10-€12. The decent supermarkets are around 5 minute drive away. Would recommend.

Sehr schöne modern eingerichtete Location in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Mit dem Auto ist man rasch am Meer oder kann den Einkauf im nahen Mercadona oder Carrefour tätigen. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Hemos pasado una semana como si hubiésemos estado en nuestra casa. Los niños han disfrutado muchísimo de la piscina. La casa está muy bien equipada y no le falta de nada. El único inconveniente que yo le veo, son las escaleras para bajar a la habitación de abajo, creo que debería de tener una baranda para que los niños suban y bajen con más tranquilidad para los padres.

Compleet huis met top zwembad

Ons verblijf was goed. Ondanks kapotte waterpomp en de werkzaamheden daarvoor en we de benedenverdieping 5 dagen niet konden gebruiken hebben we een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Na die 5 dagen werkte alles weer perfect en het is heel netjes opgelost allemaal. Echt alles is aanwezig in het huis. Het zwembad in 1 woord geweldig. Dat maakte ons verblijf wel extra fijn. In nabije omgeving genoeg restaurantjes en winkels en supermarkten. Wel heel erg toeristisch allemaal in en om Torrevieja.

Great stay

Villa was beautiful, we didn’t have a car, but would recommend having one. We did struggle slightly with heat at night in bottom bedroom without ac, but overall had a lovely stay. Property was spotlessly clean and that pool is amazing.

Quiet family holiday

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa The pool is fantastic and the seating areas are plentiful The villa is ideal for large families It is is very clean and well maintained Car hire is essential as the local amenities are very limited and not great unless you just want a quick coffee in the morning or a quick drink in the evening. I would definitely stay again, the check in and check out process was very easy and the owners friendly and helpful

Magnifique propriété avec une splendide piscine très grande. propreté impeccable seul petit bémol en intérieur l'air co est annoncé mais il ne se trouve que dans le salon et la salle à manger... pour les chambres ce sont des ventilateurs donc les nuits restent chaudes... en extérieur le sol autour de la piscine et très glissant une fois mouillé, ce qui m'a malheureusement value une belle chute avec fracture ... mais bon pour la fracture évidemment le propriétaire n'y peux rien 😁 la personne qui s'occupe de l'arrivée est impeccable et réponds très rapidement s'il y a le moindre souci . belle adresse à recommander Brigitte

Paradise

Just returned from two weeks at this amazing villa. The property has everything you could possibly ask for. The pool and pool area is huge, with comfortable beds & a seating area provided. Plenty of places for a welcome bit of shade. The location is ideal, close enough to pop into Torrevieja or La Mata, but far enough away for some well earned peace & quiet. Communication with Olivier & Kathleen was excellent, as was the hand-over with the property managers Robbie & Sonja. We will definitely be back for another visit in 2020. Try out this wonderful property - you won't be disappointed.

Lovely villa

This villa is lovely, large living area and a very big pool and outside space. 6 of us went for a week, 4 adults 1 child and a baby. The villa was fairly clean on arrival but there were a few things that we weren’t too pleased with • mould inside the freezer • damp towels left in the washing machine • dirty crockery All of the above could obviously be a issue wherever you are staying though and is more of a reflection on the cleaners than the owner, and I still think the villa was truly lovely, just not what you want when you first arrive somewhere. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but none of which were of top quality, but good for a easy outing, although I was told the Chinese is very good! We hired a car through gold car (would highly recommend them) which made going to the beach and supermarkets very easy, so didn’t matter much what was around us anyway. The double bed in the downstairs bedroom was very noisy, which did result in my daughter being woken up multiple times whenever I would move. You have to pay a extra €60 for linen, €95 for cleaning and then electricity which is deducted from your €500 deposit, a week for us was €53. We were told if we were to use extra towels/ beach towels they would deduct from your deposit. You have to strip the beds and empty all bins before leaving as well or you’ll get money deducted from deposit, which I wouldn’t usually mind doing but as we had to pay for extras including linen and cleaning I personally wasn’t thrilled by having to do it myself. But overall we all had a lovely, much needed family holiday 😃

We appreciate your comments and will certainly discuss them with the cleaning team as we were not aware ourselves of these kind of arrangements (stripping the beds etc.). And we agree that refridgerator, oven etc should be double checked upon every check-out so this as well will be a point of discussion. As it is the first time we receive this kind of comment, we hope it will remain exceptionnal. For future visite, please contact the keymanager as soon as you experience any of these ‘unwanted’ surprises.

Fantastic property, great location, quiet and spacious - highly recommended

This property is brilliant - everything you need is there plus more! The terrace and pool area is huge! I have been to some hotels that have smaller, and we had this to ourselves! The standard of the finishing in the villa is top class. Wifi is good (essential these days), and we were greeted and checked out very professionally. Damage deposit was paid back within 2 days of leaving (thank you). You do have to pay extra for electricity (our stay was around Euro50 for a week), I missed this on the booking form. There are a few bars/restaurants within a local walk - which are ok for a drink or easy meal but not really what i would call classy!!! Short drive to large shopping centre and massive Carrefour, or Lidl for a cheaper shop. Torrevieja is less than 10 mins drive which has a nice seafront walk with plenty of bars and restaurants. Best local beach I thought was La Mata with nice sand into the sea, not too deep for the kids, and plenty of rockpools to break up the day at the beach. Loved our time here! Will definitely come again!

Schitterend verblijf met alle luxe en rust

Deze vernieuwde villa heeft echt alles om er een deugddoende vakantie van te maken. Binnen alle luxe en buiten de zon en heel groot zwembad. Rustig maar toch kort bij winkels en stad. Gewoon TOP!
