The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom and has a modern shower room which is on the ground floor. The open plan living area is a delightful social space. There is an enclosed decked area with garden table and chairs for alfresco nibbles, plus off road parking for one car. Located with easy access to Helford, Bolitho’s Retreat is an excellent romantic country retreat. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Region: Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Town: Helford is a picturesque village on the south side of the Helford River. Helford is very popular with its thatched cottages, excellent village stores and especially The Shipwrights Arms, right on the edge of the creek with its waterside terrace. Just a short walk away is Frenchman’s Creek, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier. The Helford River Sailing Club is very popular and a regatta is held every August. In the summer a passenger ferry runs to Helford passage, the home of the Ferryboat Inn, and nearby to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The wildlife on the Helford River is diverse and a birdwatcher’s paradise.
