La Cala offers endless water activities such as kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, boat tours, paddleboarding…
For golf lovers, this is the recommended destination due to the wide variety of golf courses in the area, which offer excellent conditions for playing the sport.
The Senda Litoral runs parallel to the sea, featuring wooden walkways and a wide path stretching about 12 kilometres where you can enjoy the charm and serenity of the views. This walk is especially recommended at sunrise or sunset!
The festival calendar is packed with events, both in summer and winter. The flea market is also a must-see, held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at the fairgrounds.
Just a 15-minute drive away is the traditional town of Mijas; Fuengirola is 10 minutes away, and Marbella is 15 minutes away. Across from the town hall in La Cala is the bus stop, with buses running every 30 minutes year-round. And finally, less than 40 kilometres away, you can stroll down the famous Marqués de Larios Street in city centre Málaga, visit the Cathedral of the Incarnation, the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, Gibralfaro Castle, the harbour pier, and perhaps take the opportunity to visit its museums.

La Cala de Mijas enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. As the heart of the Mijas coast, it retains the essence and charm of a typical traditional fishing village despite its significant growth in tourism and modernization. Its beach is 1,300 metres long and is known as one of the best in the province of Málaga. In addition to the beach bars right on the water’s edge, many other restaurants offer delicious tapas, meat dishes, seafood, and all kinds of national and international culinary specialities.

Our main goal is for our guests to have a pleasant experience during their stay with us and to enjoy their well-deserved holiday. If you notice any issues, please let us know and we’ll try to resolve them as soon as possible.

•Please be considerate of our neighbors; do not make noise after 10:00 PM, especially on the balcony. Outdoor music in the building complex and loud music inside the apartment are not permitted. Please keep in mind that neighbors may call the police in the event of disturbances (late at night). If we are notified of disturbances late at night and need to come to the apartment, there will be an additional charge of 100€.

•Smoking is not permitted indoors. Please smoke outside; you’ll find an ashtray on the balcony.

•Be sure to turn off the air conditioning when leaving the apartment and close the doors when using the air conditioning.

•To prevent clogs, please do not flush wet wipes down the toilet.

•The property is not liable for theft, any additional expenses incurred by the guest, or any circumstances beyond the owner’s control.

•The owner is not responsible for lost or forgotten items; however, if an item is found on the premises during cleaning, the owner will be happy to send it to the provided address via cash-on-delivery.
