Legacy #702 is a custom decorated interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condo plus media room located on the 7th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Legacy 702 boasts fine furnishings and professionally decorated by local designer from Malouf Furniture. The master bedroom features a Tommy Bahama canopy king bed with an en suite bathroom with jetted tub and separate shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the hall bath has a tub/shower combo. The living room and media room feature sofa sleepers. The media room has a huge sectional sofa, pub table and flat screen TV. The unit is approximately 1248 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with all new Whirlpool stainless steel appliances installed February 20, 2025. **No Monthly Rentals**

Legacy is a 9 story building with 3 units per floor located 1.3 miles West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Legacy has an outdoor seasonal pool with waterfall. The property also has a barbecue grilling area. 2 car limit.

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

We enjoyed the condo. It was very spacious and the view of the ocean was great. The dryer vent was broken so we contacted maintenance and they were there same day to fix it. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

The elevator was a little sketchy at times and there are a lot of areas in the condo that need some paint maintenance. Otherwise it was a nice space for my family of 4 to stay and enjoy the beach.

Our condo was perfect for our family of five plus a grandparent. It would be really nice if the keypad to the door was updated and functional for a keyless entry so people would not have to keep up with keys. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with as far as dishes go but make sure to bring your own spices. We had a great stay and will definitely be staying there again!

Parking was easy, but we were there with no crowds. The condo is need of decluttering and some TLC and basic maintenance (like a new microwave, toaster, leaky faucets). Be sure to bring own spices and everything basic you will need for your stay.

Family Vacation

Our stay at Legacy 702 was very enjoyable. The condo was clean and exactly how we expected it to be from the online pictures. It's proximity to the water can't be beat! Our only issues was with parking. We were there for the 4th of July so the area was very busy and many people chose to park in the very small parking lot. We were unable to find a parking spot on two separate occasions. I called the rental agency and they were very nice and had been working to resolve the issue.

No brooms or cleaning supplies.. and right at lunch time out of no where a man was standing in the kitchen changing a filter??? No calls, no text, no warning!!! My mother was on the couch napping and my daughter and I was on the balcony. My mother was waken by the man that just came on with a key and changed the filter. Again no warning! Very strange that we did t hear a knock on the door or a callOr text so we could be expecting someone.. my mother was in her nightgown..

The microwave turntable doesn’t work, so heating things up can be a little bit of a challenge. The kitchen could use some pizza pans, pizza cutter, and a few bigger cookie sheets. But overall, great place to stay! We are repeat vacationers here and love it! Shortest walk to the beach ever!

Great location, Needs updates

The location was great, very close to the beach. The balcony was nice. The jacuzzi tub would have been nice if the jets were clean. Also, would run out of hot water not even half way to the jets. We had to boil water on the stove in order to soak and relax in the tub. The cold water facet leaks. The wall art was beautiful, however, it wasn't hung straight and bothered my OCD the entire time. Would not stay again. Maybe in another unit.

Cabinets in kitchen and bathroom warping and falling apart, oven door doesn’t close all the way, furniture isn’t comfortable, nearly every piece of silverware was dirty like it was used and just put back in drawer, coffee mug had coffee in it and placed back in cabinet. Condo wasn’t filthy but floors were sandy but it is on a beach :)But the condo was spacious for us, beautiful view, loved the location. I also loved it is a smaller building and not fighting for an elevator all the time. Rental company was easy to work with and went seamlessly. I will be back for sure, just not this condo

The unit itself is great, especially for two families to share. There’s a lot of room and a great view from the balcony & the living room & master bedroom off the balcony. The new appliances & pots & pans in the kitchen were wonderful. (A few more forks would be good.) The only complaints/suggestions we had were the cleanliness of the floors & living room rug. The unit overall seemed clean, and the floors had been swept or vacuumed, but they needed a good mopping (as well as the balcony) & the living room rug just needs to be replaced. You could tell from the bottom of feet or white socks, after walking around for a few minutes , that the floors really needed to be mopped. In hopes that this will be done in the future, we would recommend this rental to others, and we would stay there again.

Legacy 702 has a beautiful location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit, having the Gulf, is absolutely perfect. Being able to see tge waves from the master bed is wonderful.The unit was clean but we found a few things that need attention.1. The smoke detectors have been unplugged from the walls.2. While the stove and microwave have been replaced, there is no light above the stove, which would be very helpful.3. The towels are very cheap and rough and they need replacing.4. The king flat sheet is barely big enough to cover the bed and needs replacing.5. Only two dish washer soaps, very tiny bathroom soaps, very few trash bags provided. Every guest needs to bring their own. More should be provided.6 Only junk hangars provided. We purchased plastic hangars and left them for next renter.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Paint peeling off cabinets. Guest bath - the shower curtain goes up to ceiling. Makes shower dark and it is old, grimy and dirty. AC broke last day. Fan was reversed on condenser. Mold all over kitchen air vent. Balcony floor dirty. Bad smell in washing machine. Generally speaking the description of the unit did not accurately reflect condition.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The positives were the location, the beds were comfortable and the towels were in good shape. The condo was quiet. The negatives far outweighed though. The property was in poor shape and in need of many repairs and deep cleaning. The curtains have an eight inch water stain at the bottom. The cupboard doors were falling apart and off in the kitchen and bathrooms. The dishes and kitchen were not adequate. We pulled two glasses from the kitchen cabinet that were broken. The knives would not cut through anything, even a simple piece of fruit was dangerous to attempt to cut. The baseboards were filthy and in need of a fresh coat of paint. The entry lock keypad code did not work. The exterior patio was filthy and smelled of cigarettes. It was covered in cigarette ashes and spilled food & drinks. The patio furniture was dirty and uncomfortable. The comforter on the master king bed was worn and fraying beyond repair. The elevator was very dirty. We would not recommend this condo or stay here again.
