Pebbles is a pretty, modernised Victorian cottage situated in a very quiet location within minutes of the Deal town centre and the beach. The owners have beautifully decorated the cottage in a style which reflects its seaside location and features include stripped floor boards, exposed brick work with a wonderful wood burning stove. It has a delightful sunny garden with the added bonus of secure off road parking.

The cottage is a perfect holiday home for families, friends or couples wanting to escape for a romantic getaway at any time of the year. In the winter you can cosy up in front of the fires or in the summer you can enjoy the seaside and the wonderful garden. Everything is within walking distance from the cottage.

This lovely Kent holiday home is situated in the historic town of Deal.The sought after location makes this a very popular choice for holiday makers wishing to take a vacation in Kent. Deal is a very popular seaside town which once upon a time was an important naval town and had a thriving fishing industry. The heritage of this can be seen in the pretty conservation area in the centre of the town. There is also a lively shopping centre with many high street names and a good selection of interesting independent shops. Along the seafront and in the town are many bars, pubs and restaurants including one at the end of the pier, where you can enjoy a good meal and admire the wonderful views of the elegant seafront properties and the surrounding coastline, as far as the White Cliffs of Dover past the 3 famous links golf courses and across to the Isle of Thanet.

A CD player with DAB & FM radio with bluetooth input is provided. The french doors lead out to the well tended garden.

A beautifully decorated room with an realistic electric wood burner. Two large comfortable sofas, a DVD player and an enormous HD TV.

Kitchen
A well equipped Shaker style kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, four burner gas hob and electric oven under.

A lovely light room with a king sized double bed, bedside tables, built in wardrobe and a TV

A pretty bedroom overlooking the garden, a king sized double bed, built in wardrobe, bedside tables, dvd player and a TV.

Just spent a wonderful week at Pebbles. Very clean and comfortable. Garden an added bonus. wonderful weather so was able to eat outside. location fantastic. Very near to all amenities. would definitely recommend.

Great base for a Kent holiday

A third stay at Pebbles

This was our third stay at Pebbles, which is very conveniently situated near the sea, the Castle, the station and our church. The property is well equipped and we were pleased to see the new television. The fact that it has its own parking space is a very important consideration. We were sorry to see that Pebbles is currently up for sale.

Excellent position, very easy to walk to town and beach. Great having parking space as double yellow lines everywhere. Very comfortable beds, nice bedding. Very well equipped. Easy to book via Keepers Cottages, and kept well informed by them. Felt it definitely had the personal touch.

We loved this little cottage, it was centrally located which was excellent, the town and train station were a few minutes walk away. We caught a train to Ramsgate one day. We attended the cider and ale festival at the castle another. There is a lovely garden area. The house has everything you need, the only negative was lack of space to hang clothes.The

A Cosy Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at Pebbles, helped by some wonderful weather. The Cottage is very well located, one could park the car and never need to use it given that restaurants etc. were within easy walking distance and the coastal walks were flat and long walks could make the return by bus or train. Although we never cooked in the cottage, it is clear that all the amenities were there and, indeed, very well provided. You really felt you were in a home rather than a holiday let, and the quirky garden added to the fun of the stay.

Brilliant location and mostly comfy

This was our second stay at Pebbles and we were surprised to find that this time one of the gates to the carport would only open half'way. Also the main TV was broken and so the owner kindly provided an older, smaller replacement which remained there for the fortnight we stayed. Otherwise, things were good and we found Pebbles to be well equipped.

We will be back!!!

Our second visit to this accommodation and we will return. the house is immaculate and very comfortable. The parking and small suntrap garden with summer house are a bonus. The quality of the furniture, and decoration is excellent. The house is very near to the seafront and within walking distance of shops, supermarkets, theatre and pubs and restaurants. The bus service is great and there is no real need to use your car to get to places of interest. Deal itself is an unspoilt gem.

Handy spot right in the middle of Deal

Very convenient especially with the parking space at the back. Pleasant property full of beach memorabilia and a nice garden for when the weather is good. Services all worked fine but could not work the TV in the bedroom. Steel staircase handrail needs fixing properly to the wall. 24 hour contact service is not really 24 hours to be honest. Otherwise a very good property and worth a visit.

Pebbles June 2023

Pebbles is a well positioned cottage, close to beach, shops and all amenities. Off road secure parking a huge bonus. It has a south facing garden which we utilised every mealtime. Probably more suitable for a family or two adults rather than two couples. There is only one wardrobe available and this was taken over with spare 'stuff' belonging to the owners, so no room to hang anything. We encountered issues with the company's housekeeping and lack of communication. We had a good break in Deal and would be happy to return if housekeeping issues were addressed.

Ein tolles Haus und ein toller Ort!

Unser erster Aufenthalt in UK hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Unterkunft ist super, alles war zu finden, bin Waschmaschine bis Gartenmöbel. Ein liebliches kleines Haus hat uns erwartet, wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Toll ist der eigene Parkplatz im wunderschönen Garten. Die Agentur hilft schnell per Email. 100% empfehlenswert!

What a little gem

Pebbles was a delightful cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It’s USP is definitely the garden. It is as if you have the beach and a beach hut at your fingertips. We ate outside every day from breakfast to our evening meal. Location is perfect. Just a stones throw from the centre of town and the beach. The cottage is well equipped and many of the rooms are themed - we love the seaside and peacock themed bedrooms. Parking was an added bonus, especially after a day out when you know you have somewhere to park the car and not have to hunt around for on street parking.
