Saltmarshes is the perfect holiday hideaway for families, groups of friends, birdwatchers, golfers, walkers, cyclists and those keen to enjoy the unmatchable beauty of the north Norfolk coast. Thoughtfully furnished, the ground floor is a welcoming home from home. The wood burning stove in the sitting room adds extra warmth and ambient light on chiller evenings, the farmhouse table in the kitchen is the perfect place to gather together to share food and conversation, and the delightful conservatory is a quiet spot to enjoy a morning coffee or read a book as you take in the garden view. Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms offer comfortable beds; a super-king, a king-size, and twin single beds; which are served by an en suite bathroom and family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from garden views, with the other two bedrooms overlooking the marsh. Outside, the property is accessed by electric gates, and the large enclosed garden is a great spot for supervised children and the dog to play. On summer evenings, fire up the barbecue on the patio and dine al fresco as the sun sets in the big Norfolk sky. Off road parking for up to four vehicles is available on the driveway.
Nearby is the family friendly gastropub, The White Horse which serves excellent local and seasonal food and has a large beer garden. Just a five minute drive, or 25 minute walk, the neighbouring village of Thornham has a deli, two pubs and wonderful Drove Orchards offering seasonal pick-your-own fruits plus a farm shop sells ready picked fruit, vegetables, butcher, and cheese counter selling local produce. Also on site are Gurneys fishmonger and smokehouse offering delicious fresh fish alongside their own range of homemade pâtés and sauces, and Eric's fish and chips or pizza, available to eat in or take away. Finish off with an ice cream from East Coast Gelato.

Well appointed cottage in a very convenient location. The garden is secure and perfect for dogs. Beds very comfortable. Lovely walks around the village and across nature reserve to the beach. Dog friendly pub across the road.

Perfect - like a home away from home.
We have already recommended the property to friends. Wonderfully clean on arrival and we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. Close to the beach, across the road from the pub, and totally peaceful in the evening. We will be back.

Ground Floor:
Kitchen Large scrubbed table, built-in electric hob and sink, double oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer and a 32inch Smart television. Cloakroom With WC and wash basin. Sitting room Seating in the peaceful sitting room is for six guests, with a wood burning stove and a 50inch Smart television with separate DVD player. Conservatory French windows lead from the sitting room into a large conservatory with pine wooden floor, comfortable sofas and an armchair.
First Floor:
Master bedroom Super-king size bed, wardrobe and views over the garden and adjoining paddock. En-suite shower room With a power shower WC and wash basin. Bedroom two With a king-size bed and chest of drawers. Views over the marshes. Bedroom three With twin single beds and views over the marshes. Family bathroom With bath, power shower, wash basin and WC.
Outside:
Access to the large, enclosed garden is from the conservatory or via an outside side gate from the front drive. The garden also has a patio with furniture and a barbecue in the summer. Secure, electric gate. Plenty of parking in brick weave driveway. Secure garage for storing bikes and paddleboards. A dog kennel and run is also available, and is stored in the garage.
