Wonderful property in a perfect location with stunning views across the valley. The pool and outdoor kitchen were the standout for this rental and made for a relaxing stay. The house is very well equipped and the owners are lovely. There are some great walks and the location allows easy access to a number of pretty villages. There’s even a train station for trips to Lucca and Pisa. Highly recommend.

Relaxing holiday

The villa is lovely with very comfy beds and good showers. The pool and views are stunning. The owners live onsite and were friendly and unobtrusive. We had a great, and very relaxing holiday.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Nicer then the pictures and villa and pool area was like a “ four seasons hotel “. Villa was super clean and pool was extremely clean. The village gives you a true slice of life in Italy away from tourist. Owners so helpful- you won’t find a better place!!!

Beautiful very well kept and presented property.Great location,stunning views from the pool area.The pool was excellent,the pool area was huge which contained a well covered full working kitchen,table and chairs.There were plenty of comfy sun loungers and two big parasels.Fantastic outside area.The house was in excellent order, built and decorated in period charm.There was a restaurant,pizza eaterie ,shop,two bars within maybe 150metres....The hosts were very polite ,helpful on hand and easily contactable for any help or advice.Overall we all (2 couples) enjoyed/loved the house, pool area,the village and the local people.No complaints whatsoever.....would we stay there again, absolutely.Thank you Patricia and Gier

Comfortable house in a fantastic location

The property is a very good standard and was perfect for the two of us. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the facilities of the pool and outdoor kitchen/dining which were perfect for taking in the amazing views. We would certainly stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. The pictures do not do it justice, it’s even better in reality! The views from the balcony and pool deck are simply stunning. The villa is wonderful and has everything you could need. Highly recommend!

Lovely property and hosts

We travel a lot and this is one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. Wonderful surroundings and stunning view. Very clean and well equipped house. Nice and helpful hosts. It almost felt like visiting friends. Thank you for this week. We will definitely come back!!

Best holidays we ever had!

The Location with its lovely pool and adorable view was amazing! The furniture is of a very high quality; the house is just cosy! We enjoyed wonderful sunsets on the Patio watching deers. The host was the perfect host one can imagine. She gave us valuable tips for very interesting and exciting trips. We definitely will visit again! Thank you so much.

Wonderful Holiday

I would highly recommend this property for a holiday. The property itself was ideal. It was of a very high standard. The location was perfect. We could walk to the local restaurant which had lovely food and friendly staff. There are lots of things to see locally and you could use the train to go further afield. The proprietors were wonderful. They were very informative and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come back to this villa again. We cannot recommend highly enough Miriam and Charles

Perfect Tuscan Escape!

My family of four (2 teen sons) stayed at this beautiful property in June. It is a perfect base for exploring Garfagnana by car and the property is delightful. There are 2 great restaurants within a 3-4 minute walk. The hosts are so welcoming and accomodating; it was a great overall experience. The management company sent great information about the area ahead of time (which was super helpful.) Although a little tricky to initially locate the property, it is easily accessible once you know where you are going. This was our first trip to Tuscany. I hope to stay here (same property) again!

Garfagnana greatness

5 of us had a wonderful stay. The pictures don't do it justice; the views over this beautiful part of Tuscany are amazing and the property / its facilities are superbly designed and finished to a very high quality. The outdoor spaces aren't overlooked at all and the interior provided a welcome relief from the heat. Good walks from the property too. Oh and very few mosquitos! Patricia was at the property during our stay and was very discrete. She booked us into the local restaurant and made excellent recommendations about things to do in the local area. The food and drink (in the supermarkets and restaurants) was consistently excellent quality and low price.

WOW! What an amazing place

As soon as we drove through the gates, we saw that this was an impressive property. The owner, Patricia met us and gave us a guided tour. She was very relaxed and shown us everything. The property had everything and to be honest I could not fault the place. Inside and out was lovely. The outside area and poo were amazing and the views were something else. There was an amazing Pizza restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the property along with a little shop for fresh bread. You will need a car if you want to explore the lovely countryside, plenty of parking at the property. All in all just superb. I would highly recommend this property and Patricia was super helpful to us.

A dream...

Patricia and Geir are super-hosts and the house with the pool and the outdoor-kitchen is a dream! Viletta is an cosy small village with a little shop (inklusice a good gelateria). The restaurant "il Grotto" is great. No chi-chi-food, just fine handmade italian food, good wines and a great view over the valley. The area is very hilly and green. There are no busloads of tourists swarming all over the countryside. So you will find a wonderful place for relaxing holidays. You can do some nice trips from Viletta to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze or Cinqueterre - but to the south of the toscany (Siena, San Gimiagno, Bolgehri) you might "endure" some longer rides. But who cares - if the house and the hosts are that good as here. And why travel so far, if you can find nice little towns like Bargha nearby. Thank you for a great time!

Super leuk huisje aan de rand van het dorp. Het zwembad en de buitenkeuken waren ideaal. Onze zoons hebben heerlijk geslapen helaas was ons matras wat door gezakt. We hebben dit gemeld bij vertrek dus zal vast snel opgelost zijn. Patricia bedankt voor de fijne week.

Wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes Haus mit zusätzlichem Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Die Küche im Haus und vor allem auch die Außenküche waren perfekt ausgestattet. Mit einem hervorragendem Gasgrill, einer Kochplatte und einem Kühlschrank kann man bei atemberaubender Aussicht das Abendessen zubereiten. Nur wenige Minuten hinter dem Haus findet man zwei sehr gute Lokale mit schöner Dachterrasse. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern, die direkt nebenan wohnen, sehr freundlich empfangen. Außerdem waren sie bei Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Dette unikke sted er et besøg værd. Alt er fantastisk det er meget bedre end på billederne . Værterne er meget søde og venlige . Tag afsted . I vil ikke fortryde det. Der findes intet ligesom dette .Vi har haft en fantastisk ferie. Vi har lavet mad i ude køkkenet hele ugen i mens har vi nydt udsigten over bjergene .

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Gastgeber waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich, sodass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Besonders begeistert hat uns der wunderschöne Pool mit seiner traumhaften Aussicht sowie die hervorragend ausgestattete Outdoor-Küche. Die ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur macht diesen Ort zu einem perfekten Rückzugsort. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus mit Pool

Patricia und Geir haben uns einen tollen Empfang bereitet. Es war wie nach Hause zu kommen. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Schnuckeliges Haus und ein toller Pool mit einem Wahnsinnsausblick. Die Pizzaria il Grotto ist nur in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!

Traumurlaub in der Toskana

Mit unseren beiden Söhnen haben wir 10 Tage in dieser einmalig schönen Villa verbracht und einen fantastischen Urlaub bei den wundervollen Gastgebern Patricia und Geir erlebt. Das absolute Highlight ist der Pool mit der Außenküche und einem fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. In Laufweite ist eine Pizzeria / Gelateria / Lebensmittelladen, in der man alles für den täglichen Bedarf findet und sehr gut essen kann. Die Lage ist super geeignet für Tagesausflüge. So waren wir in Pisa, Lucca, am Strand bei Viareggio und haben auch die nahen Berge, Bergseen, Höhlen und Festungen erkundet. Wir können auch sehr empfehlen, ein E-Mountainbike auszuleihen. Dadurch kann man die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir bereits einen weiteren Urlaub in dieser Villa planen…
