A Week in the Historic Center of Naples
Many times the photos of a property look better than reality; in this case, the actual property was even better than the photos. Extremely clean, with a modern feel and good interior lighting. Good sunlight came in from the small bedroom balcony. The washing machine worked great; came with detergent. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. The manager was fantastic and tried to make my arrival as easy as possible; even let me put my luggage in the apartment before check-in time. She telephoned the next day to make certain everything was okay.
Its location on a street with shallow steps meant that there were no motorcycles or cars racing by. Remember, though, that it is indeed a residential street. You will hear neighbors talking and the occasional bark of a dog. The surrounding buildings are not high, so there is good sunlight In addition to the exterior shallow steps, there are a few steps from the front door into the living area and a step change in the bathroom.
Grocery stores (Conad) about a three-minute and eight-minute walk away. I am a walker, so I found myself walking to the historic sites and popular shopping areas, even to the Via Toledo.
I felt very safe, and I certainly recommend this apartment for one or two people, or possibly three if someone wants to sleep on the living room couch that turns into a bed. Were I to return to Naples, I would definitely pick this place again. It is a bargain.
