Spacious Lakefront Log Home Retreat

Thank you for staying with us. We are grateful for all of our guests and their feedback. We have found that critical/constructive feedback is better communicated privately because often times it may be inaccurate or a misunderstanding versus a real issue. We advertise/disclose we do not have ice machines in the refrigerators and guests need to bring ice. It prevents leaks, frustration with ice makers not performing correctly, etc. It provides a better experience for guests. We communicated before your arrival and let you know one of the handles on the jacuzzi tub was loose. It was accidentally hit by the cleaning crew right before your arrival. It was operable. We promised to repair it ASAP and we followed through with that promise. We also disclose we have one shower and a jacuzzi tub. Hundreds of guests have enjoyed the addition of the jacuzzi tub. We get a lot of positive feedback on guests enjoying it during their stay. We have some sill plate repair on the cabin that is scheduled for this Fall, but the deck does not need repair and is full functional/safe. Scheduling repair on an authentic log cabin takes some time because there is only a few qualified companies to choose from and they are booked out a few months. We thankfully have more parking than most people around the lake. The circle drive parks 4 vehicles and the parking area by the street is flat and parks 4 vehicles or 2 vehicles with boat/trailer. We feel fortunate to have so much parking.
