Escape to our 4-bedroom bungalow near Ballyconneely, a peaceful retreat on the Wild Atlantic Way. Perfect for families or groups of up to 9, this home features a cosy wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a garden with a BBQ. Explore the stunning beaches and famous golf links of Connemara from this ideal home base. Private parking included.



This delightful four-bedroom detached bungalow is your perfect home base for exploring the rugged beauty of Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way.



Step into the bright, welcoming entrance porch, furnished with comfortable seating—the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while overlooking the front garden. This leads into a spacious open-plan living area, where you can unwind on the comfortable leather couch in front of a cosy wood-burning stove.



The living space flows into a large, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. The kitchen features:

Electric oven and gas hob

Dishwasher

Microwave

Hot water kettle



The dining area is bathed in natural light from sliding doors that open to the side of the house. A separate utility room houses a washing machine, dryer, and iron for your convenience.



All four comfortable bedrooms are located on the ground floor for easy access:

Bedroom 1: Twin room with two single beds

Bedroom 2: Double room

Bedroom 3: Triple room with one king bed and one single bed

Bedroom 4: King room



The property includes a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, as well as a separate shower room with a shower cubicle, WC, and sink. The home is equipped with heating to ensure a comfortable stay year-round.

As always a great stay in Connemera … through Connemara Lettings. Always good houses. Clean. Well appointed and comfortable. Great location … would rexommend WiFi wasn’t working and the owners got it fixed asap …

A lovely house

Lovely very spacious comfortable cosy house. Had a lovely comfortable stay recently. great kitchen. My friends enjoyed also Delighted it's pet friendly had my dog with me a very spacious garden. I'd stay again.

Lovely base in Connemara

This is a modern home with all conveniences in a beautiful part of Connemara. Agnes, the host is a great person and is available for any issues, we had no issues during our stay. All bedrooms are on one level, heating systems worked very well as did TV. I would highly recommend this house for a holiday stay.

Suited our needs for the time we spent there.

The house needed more mugs, and in fact i bought 6 additional mugs and left then behind as well as two new tea towels. My gift to Aggie! I threw the oven glove in the washing machine, as i suspect that it had never been washed. Also, the Toaster has seen better days. It was not clean and should be replaced. We would have appreciated a clothes horse. Sure we hung washing on the line, but given that this is Ireland, a clothes horse would be a great addition. We aired clothes in the entrance porch as it was such a warm spot. I understand that there is a tumble drier in the house, but these are environmentally unfriendly! We did succumb to using it, but this was only in exteme circumstances. Other than that the house suited our needs for the week we spent there.

Lovely cottage

This was a lovely cottage - spacious, bright and perfect for a young family. Great garden too! The only two small negatives were that there was no gate at the entrance so we had to keep a really watchful eye on our 3 young children when they were in the garden in case they went near the busy main road. The kitchen would benefit from having more bowls/delph also as we kept running out of these, being a family of 5! All in all though, a lovely stay!

Happy family

Had a lovely week at Foregloss Cottage which was very comfortable and well equipped for our family of 6 adults and 2 one-year olds. Aggie was very helpful even providing an extra cot and highchair which was wonderful. We did lots of touring and good eating in a lovely area of Galway. The shop in Ballyconneley was useful for quick shop and Clifden was only 15mins away for bigger shops. Hope to come back again soon.

Perfect size & location

The house had for good sized bedrooms, a big kitchen and a good sized comfortable living room with a great stove! The property is exactly 2KM from the village of Ballyconneely (we measured it) so a nice walk or a quick drive, but also has that lovely West of Ireland remoteness.
