B&B Stella del Nord, in the historic center of Sant'Elena Sannita (Isernia)

The Stella del Nord Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic center of the mountain village of Sant’Elena Sannita (in the province of Isernia). The Borgo is known to be the country of perfume and the country of origin of the knife grinders. It is located about fifteen kilometers from the famous ski fields of Campitello Matese and a few kilometers from Frosolone (the country of knives), Bojano (the country of mozzarella), Roccamandolfi (the country of brigands) and other splendid places, hermitages, places for climbing and trekking.
The Stella del Nord Bed & Breakfast is recommended for an unforgettable stay in a building in the historic center overlooking a splendid valley facing east. Ideal for those who want to discover the authentic Molise, as a starting point for skiing, to visit the most beautiful places in Molise (including Agnone, Carovilli, Isernia, Campobasso, Schiavi d'Abruzzo), archaeological sites, hiking, climbing , horseback riding, rafting, for those who want to visit sacred places such as shrines, churches, hermitages, for those who love gastronomic tourism.
The Stella del Nord Bed & Breakfast has 2 rooms. Both are located on the first floor of the twentieth-century Palazzo Fanny. To reach the landing, you just have to climb 12 low steps (6 + 6) of an original lava stone staircase, which allows an easy climb to the floor even with luggage. The building, being from the period, does not have an elevator; therefore it is not a B&B recommended for those with motor disability problems.
The rooms are the Sole Room (1 double bed, 1 single bed, balcony overlooking the valley) and the Luna Room (1 double bed, 1 window with a view of the square). The ceiling of the 2 bedrooms has small vaults, which gives a touch of romance and is very welcoming. Both are cool in summer and warm in winter thanks to the external stone walls about a meter thick!
The bathroom, for the exclusive use of B&B guests, is adjacent to the Sole and Luna rooms; it is complete with shower, bidet, sink, toilet, cabinet, first aid kit, liquid soap for personal hygiene.
Breakfast is served in the Taverna (on the ground floor) or in fine weather on the veranda which leads to the garden on 2 levels via a stone staircase, where, in addition to a small vegetable garden, there are fig trees, almonds, plums and flower beds. The garden allows you to spend pleasant relaxing time sunbathing or reading a good book.
