This property is located just 45 minutes from Churchill Downs and all the other great amenities in Louisville. The owners, who live off-site, are avid travelers who understand what amenities are essential in making your stay one you will never forget. The private outdoor courtyard makes this property unique from all others.
Located in one of the most desirable locations in Bardstown, The Huston House is located just steps away from the Historic Main Street, St. Joseph Basilica, The Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey History and its front yard overlooks the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair grounds.

Both large bedrooms (One King and one Queen) include luxury bedding, smart tvs with Blu-Ray, Wi-Fi and sitting areas to relax in after a day touring our distilleries or visiting the other special attractions in the region. The Huston House is accessorized with all the amenities necessary to make this a special experience including a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, a coffee bar, washer and dryer and a charging station for your portable devices. The two full baths include hair dryers, designer shampoos and lotions and luxury towels. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV, Wi-Fi , and a complete stereo system with a collection of DVDs, CDs and vintage records to entertain you during your stay.
The Huston House has a full-size garage and four private on-site parking spaces and features a fenced-in quiet private courtyard that allows you to relax to the sounds of a water fountain.

Our stay at Huston House was very relaxing and the home was all that was portrayed in the listing. Very clean, well maintained, very well furnished, and within walking distance to downtown Bardstown shops, restaurants and bars. Access to the property was very easy and well communicated from the host. Highly recommend this property for a stay while in Kentucky's Bourbon Country.

Huston House Review

I highly recommend the Huston House!! The house exceeded our expectations in every aspect and we will definitely come back!! You can tell that the owner (Kim) takes pride in the house and its upkeep. The linens and bedding were incredibly comfortable and with so many details throughout that you really felt like you were at home :)

Downtown is the place!

We absolutely loved the location of Huston house! We walked all over town, and enjoyed the shopping and food there, when we weren’t off visiting distilleries. Kim was great about communicating, and handled a small issue that we had with ants very promptly. The indoor and outdoor space here are amazing, and perfect for two couples. Would most definitely stay again!

Huston House

We love staying at the Huston House. Peaceful and cozy. Other than visiting distillery’s we can park and walk for meals and shopping. Bardstown is an awesome place to visit.

Great location and outstanding property!

We spent a long weekend here as a home base for Bourbon Trail outings. The location was wonderful, and truly, the owners thought of everything - hairdryers, plenty of bourbon glasses, umbrellas in the garage (which unfortunately, we needed). We were two couples, and appreciated the two bedrooms, and the comfortable common areas. Don't miss Hadorn Bakery or the local restaurants - some really nice options! We will definitely be back!

Bourbon trail with in laws

Met my in laws in KY after dropping off our son to college. Spent three nights - loved the quiet yet central location to great restaurants, shops etc. Appreciated the detailed instructions with pictures for alley access and parking. Unit had everything we needed. Please note one bedroom and bathroom is upstairs. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Cute and close to everything

We loved our stay at Huston House. It's so close to everything! We loved walking into town to go to shops and restaurants. It's right across from The Rickhouse and just a block and a half from a brewery, which were both great, but it's also just a block and a half from an amazing bakery! We were lined up every morning with the locals for their amazing donuts! I can't say enough good things about this property. We loved all of the extra touches reflecting Bourbon and horse country in the property.

Fantastic townhome!

Four girlfriends doing a weekend trip in Bardstown - Kim's home could not have been better! She thought of everything from decor to ambiance on arrival to an extra toothbrush. Beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Aside from the space, Kim herself was totally available to us the entire weekend and ready with suggestions for shopping and dining. We could not have asked for a better experience! I am definitely coming back!

Great stay in Bardstown!

Lovely home. Great location. Gracious and helpful host! Perfect morning lace for two couples. One bed and bath up and one bed and bath down made for great, private retreats for each couple. Kitchen and baths had everything we needed. Comfortable living/dining/kitchen area. Everything is beautifully decorated with lots of nice touches to make it special. Be sure to check out all of the great books, booklets and wall artabout Bardstown and the bourbon area. Very interesting and helpful. A nice surprise was the little private courtyard with table and umbrella and lovely, relaxing fountain. Perfect for late after cocktails or morning cocktails. The house was immaculately clean and well taken care of. We considered several offerings in Bardstown online and are so glad we chose Huston House. It has the best location. Very close to everything, but tucked away among the houses to make it private and quiet and not right next to a business. It also had great parking. If you are going to Bardstown, consider Huston House! We’re glad we did!
