HILTON HEAD ISLAND. Wendover Dunes is a beautiful oceanside villa complex that is just a short walk to the beach. Located next to the Barrington Enclave in Palmetto Dunes, these villas are beautifully decorated and equipped with all of the amenities you will need for a first-class getaway. Each villa features an open floor plan with a full kitchen, large living and dining area, and master suite with spa tub. The Wendover Dunes community also offers covered parking, a private pool area with Jacuzzi, childrens’ pool, grill area, and bike paths that lead directly to the beach.

This great first floor villa has been completely renovated with plank tile flooring, all new furnishings and decor and brand new kitchen and baths! The living room features a sofa, over sized reading chair and a large flat screen tv. The living room leads to an over sized screened in porch, the perfect place to put up your feet after a long day on the beach! The dining room seats six and flows nicely to the kitchen. The gorgeous new kitchen has four bar stools and all new appliances.  

The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, private balcony, and a private bathroom with double vanity, large shower and tub. The guest room has two queen beds, TV, access to the large screened in porch and a private bathroom with double vanity, large shower and tub. 

This wonderful Hilton Head villa is just moments away from the beautiful Palmetto Dunes beach, and worth every step of the way!

Beautifully updated property

We had the best week in this beautiful condo. Short stroll to the beach. Quiet condo complex. We especially enjoyed our early mornings and late evenings on the screened porch. We will be back!

The condo was very nice and really convenient to the beach and pool. Very relaxing stay. Only issue was the dryer broke and no one ever came to fix it. Thank goodness for nice neighbors!! We will hopefully be back! Darn Covid!

Unit has no oven mits. How can anyone get anything out of oven. Only in bathroom in is to loose to hold a plug. I told you about this last year and no change. ( guess it doesn’t matter ). Several bugs, according to record of spraying hasn’t been done since June. Beds in room with full beds the springs are horriblely loud. Really bad.

Your feedback helps us get better prepared for future guests and prevent any ongoing problems. We have made arrangements with the the owner and a maintenance team to replace the outlet that is a safety issue. The villas at Wendover Dunes are sprayed by Pest Control monthly- we have let them know that they have not recorded their past few visits; however, we do have a record of them entering and departing the unit each month. I have reached out to the owner regarding the beds that need to be replaced. We are hoping to have this completed over the winter season. Please know, we value your business and we look forward to seeing you again on your next trip to Hilton Head!

Unit is very nice Conveniently located to pool. I must tell you we had some problems with bugs , we had palmetto bugs, granddaddy long leg, milipedes and several other bugs we didn’t know what they were. We talked to a young woman who was there she said check inside cabinet door for recent spraying it had just been done. Dry disgusting. Also bathroom outlets need replacing. Anything we plug in would fall out. This is against code GFI need replacing.

Beautiful unit at Wendover Dunes

Excellent place to stay! Wendover Dunes is a short 5-7 minute walk to beach along the Leamington beach access path which runs right by Unit A. This condo (in Unit F) sits by the pool, provided everything that we needed and was beautifully decorated. Loved being in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head. Enjoyed many bike rides along scenic paths and on the beach.

Awesome vacation

The condo was "very" clean, well equipped, and spacious. We loved the screened porch. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were nice with showers and tubs in both. The only thing in the condo that I would rate as just "ok" is the couch. Walk to the beach was easy and just about 4-5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Nicely decorated and spacious condo!

Stayed here for a week in Aug 2017 (the hottest week ever!), but the pool just outside our door was great. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. Loved that we could all spread out after a day of activities, and not be on top of one another. Nice, quiet area of Hilton Head.

July 2017 Stay

This was our second stay in Palmetto Dunes and our first stay in Wendover Dunes. We loved it! The unit was clean and spacious-- we had room to spread out with 2 teenager daughters. Both full bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed meals on the screened porch. We also thoroughly enjoyed the quiet that the unit provided.
