Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great View

We had an amazing vacation!! This condo is within walking distance to Sharky’s, Runaway Island, and an Alvin’s Island. Super clean and the view was amazing!! We’ll definitely stay here again!

Our experience was excellent. Location is perfect and convenient to shopping and lots of dinning. The room was clean snd very nice. My only complaint is no dust pan and shower curtain needed changed. Our stay was great. Definitely would stay again

Great price for resort

We did love Calypso resort. But I figured out why the price was cheaper than the other units. There’s a musty smell in it. Dishes were pretty dirty and I had to clean them. Other than that though we really enjoyed our stay. The management was so quick to respond. Thank you!

A little inconvient with getting luggage to and from room long walk way and building is confusing

Great views from room, near everything ! Condo needed some fresh paint inside but very liveable ! The pool area has some strict rules a little over board watched kids get yelled at for throwing around cloth balls and adults for having beverages on side of pool . We called them the pool Police we watched them daily as they circled the pool for any big or little violations ! All in all good place , great location and condo equipped to stay awhile ! Love the beach clean and plenty of room and pier park proximatey was great

Wonderful and Relaxing Trip!

We loved staying at this property! From check-in to check-out, the entire trip was a dream. And the gentlemen who checked us in was one of the nicest interactions I’ve had at a place like this. The unit is as advertised, and we loved the vibe! It is located on the 22nd floor and towards the end of the building. This offered an added serenity from some of the busier floors below, and of course, the view could not be beat! I’m not kidding when I say the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Everyone in our group was talking about how good we slept all week! One *minor* issue was the living room sofa seems to be in need of replacing. I can’t speak for the pull-out mattress (we didn’t use it), but the sofa cushions were worn in to the point that they caused a pretty pronounced dip when sitting. There is also a faux leather chair in the unit that had a lot of pieces flaking off, so we just didn’t use that one. These aren’t even complaints, just observations. Take it from me, if you book this property, you’ll have a great experience. Five stars across the board!

Nice view/ terrible location!

Besides the beautiful view of the ocean, there are no other positives. Not user friendly at all. Must park across the street in a parking garage tunnel over the road and then use an elevator (that is rarely available due to too many people) to the 22nd floor! Maybe not a big deal if it is 2 adults that don't cargo much luggage. However, with a large group that includes children- do not stay here. There are huge crowds of people everywhere- which greatly impairs relaxing beach time. People would claim their spot on the beach at 6 am, but never show up to use it until late morning. They do not provide enough toilet paper (1 roll is your "start up courtesy"), paper towels, no dish soap, only 2 loads of dishwasher soap was provided. Don't plan on driving anywhere- unless you plan about 2 extra hours due to the heavy traffic surrounding this place- however there are some places within walking distance. Nothing relaxing and beachy about this place- just seemed like hard work the entire time for moments of beach time.

Spring Break ‘21

Our family came in from Iowa with our daughters ranging from 6-13 and my sister from KY with her daughter and grandson, who is 3. It was perfect for our short stay. Everything was super convenient, we walked everywhere each day and evening, with the exception of the trip to Walmart and ZooWorld. Our pool was shut down due to painting/cleaning on our tower, no real info posted about this anywhere, you just stumble upon it. You do have access to use the other pool, so no big deal. Also, the ocean is right there! Would recommend and definitely come back!

Great location and large condo but it was not super clean. A few things were broken like the can opener and a toaster. The only knives were steak knives which is hard to cut fruit with. Seemed a little under decorated too.

Regular/clean condo with breathtaking views.

Hi guys, this condo was alright. It was a regular condo with regular features. Although, we had an excellent time there. The condo fits 8 according to their rules, but we was a little bit over that. We’re a big family and rented this last minute. Therefore, we got ours money’s worth. Negative feedback: The tv didn’t work the entire time. Internet is kind of slow, if everyone is using the wifi. There’s no signal, therefore you need the wifi by obligation. I think the condo needs to be updated when it comes to technology... or im probably too advanced... To conclude, those minor issues didn’t stop us from having a good time. The pier park is a block away, I personally loved it. The pool is very cold, but our children loved it eitherway.
