Charming cottage between Josselin and Ploërmel near the forest Brocéliande

We rent this warm and spacious holiday home of 130 m² at the doors of the legendary forest of Brocéliande.

This house is ideal for nature lovers, green tourism and fishing. This is the starting point for many walks and hikes.


You can walk through forests and rocky moors with panoramic views or you will follow one of the many strolls told during the tourist season.

You can discover the Golden Tree and the Val sans Retour where Merlin once let himself be imprisoned by the fairy Viviane.
In this magical land of fantasy you will meet elves, fairies, goblins, Farfadets and other Korrigans.

This vacation rental has been recently converted and is very well equipped.

The kitchen is complete with a gas hob, traditional electric oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, pressure cooker, toaster, coffee maker, Senseo, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, raclette, electric barbecue etc ...

The living room is spacious and is equipped with a fireplace. Here you will find a 42 "LCD TV.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms each equipped with a bed 2 people, a library lounge with Hifi channel, a bathroom with toilet and shower.

A garden furniture with parasol and a barbecue are of course part of the equipment of this house.

You can park your car in the yard.

You are 5 kilometers from the Greenway for long breaks on foot or by bike through woods, green countryside and small towns.

Also 5 kilometers away you will find supermarkets, several restaurants and creperies, a cinema 5 rooms, a golf course, a bowling alley and a nautical base.

Erg fijn en ruim huis

Het huis is enorm ruim, goed ingericht, fijn bankstel, goede badkamers en met een zeer complete keuken. Alles is er.Nadelen zijn het internet dat regelmatig uitvalt en het dan niet meer doet, de open tuin en de erg harde matrassen op twee slaapkamers.De omgeving is ideaal om te fietsen, veel leuke dorpjes. Pas in huis goed op je hoofd met de lagen balken.

Un gîte magnifique, situé au calme, proche de l'écluse de Guillac et à moins de 10 min de Ploermel. Propreté, accueil sont les points forts de cette location. Nous avons visité La Gacilly, Rochefort-en-terre, Josselin et son sublime château. À 1h30 de Saint-Malo, Le cap Fréhel, Fort-la-Latte... Moins de 50 minutes de Carnac, les magnifiques plages du Golfe du Morbihan. La semaine est passée trop vite.

L'annonce présente bien le logement, qui est propre et bien tenu, petite difficulté lors l'arrivée car aucune indication sur la localisation sur la route. Place de parking, propreté, espace, vaisselle, bon accueil, couchage etc etc dans l’ensemble bonne prestations, petit souci de chauffage avec le poêle a pellet qui ne fonctionne pas et on nous a proposer un chauffage d’appoint de chantier qui fonctionne bien (un peu bruyant). Point important il n’y a qu’une SDB et WC a l’étage dans la même pièce, et la consommation éléc est à la charge du locataire dans notre cas cela n’as pas été le cas car le poêle ne fonctionnait pas et nous l’avons remplacé par le chauffage d’appoint (qui consomme beaucoup). Accès facile et rapide au canal de nantes a brest, aux diverses balades dans la foret de Broceliande, aux villes de Josselin, Painpont, PLoermel etc etc nous recommandons ce logement.

Jolie maison mais quelques défauts

Maison fraiche, agréable et conforme aux photos. On peut toutefois déplorer l’absence de jardin et une terrasse qui se trouve sur la rue (donc a la vue de tous), ainsi que 2 chambres (sur 3) sans aucune fenêtre. Par ailleurs des poutres assez basses obligent à se baisser dans la montée d’escalier et à l’accès salle de bain notamment. Forcément, il y a des oublis et donc quelques chocs frontaux.

Excellent week end entre amis dans cette merveilleuse maison avec vue sur les champs breton, un petit écrin de paradis au calme. Merci à Joelle et Brigitte pour leurs gentillesses et leurs accueils, Nous reviendrons avec plaisir, nous sommes tombés amoureux de cette maison cocooning dont la décoration est parfaite à tous les niveaux. Seul petit bémol, qu’il n’y ai qu’un seul toilette et une seule salle de bain. Sinon parfait à tous les niveaux.

Very quiet location - just as we liked it

Apart from the property being some 12 miles (20km) away from the nearest town it was ideal for travelling to and from main places of interest. Everything that could be wished for in the property was available and our English speaking contact Bridget (Not the property owner) was very helpful. If you stay here, do not forget to feed the donkey. We also went away with a very good supply of sweet chestnuts, hazel nuts and walnuts.

Un excellent accueil par Brigitte, notre voisine et d'excellents contacts avec les propriétaires. Un hameau calme et bien situé par rapport aux sites à découvrir alentour. notamment Ploermel, joli village aux monuments, commerces et marché fort sympathiques, Lizio (insectarium passionnant et musée du poète ferrailleur surprenant!), etc... Découverte d'un gîte joliment décoré, propre, bien aménagé, très spacieux au rez de chaussée. Le seul point négatif est peut-être qu'il n’y ni fenêtre ni velux dans 2 des 3 chambres, rendant impossible leur aération de jour comme de nuit. Toutefois, nous recommanderons cette location à nos amis!

"Gite de charme" ce charme est vraiment au R. D.V.

Ce lieu nous a apporté de vrais vacances ! Le gîte SUPER ! confortable endroit ou on se sent a l'aise ! est accueillant !(tout est prévu même pour bébé.)la propreté des lieux est au R.D.V. le calme est appréciable. cet endroit retiré (calme)accessible en 2 mn sur le coté de la N24 est a la fois tout proche d'un côté ou de l'autre d'activités de visite en tout genre de restauration ...... Félicitation aux propriétaires pour toutes les indications qui accompagne ce séjour agréable !

Superbe séjour !

Gîte très spacieux et agréable, où l'on trouve vraiment tout le matériel dont nous avons besoin pour passer de superbes vacances. Le coin est calme et très joli, de belles balades sont possibles en campagne et le gîte est proche des grands axes pour visiter la Bretagne (Foret de Brocéliande, Vannes, Ploërmel etc...). Je recommande vivement !

Gite très bien aménagé, avec tout confort. Très propre et très bien entretenu. Description tout à fait conforme. Tout l'équipement est de très grande qualité et à profusion : vaisselle, appareils de cuisine, deux télés, grand parasol, salon de jardin etc... Nous avons apprécié le calme de ce gite à la campagne. Activités diverses dans un rayon de 10km (accrobranche, château de Josselin, lac aux Ducs de Ploermel). En s'éloignant un peu, vous trouvez Rochefort-en-Terre, Carentoir, la Gacilly.

Séjour très apprécié !

Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux ! Le gîte est spacieux et très bien équipé ! Le seul hic pour nous fût l'étage car nous sommes très grands et les plafonds bas, pareil pour les lits..mais cela n'est pas le plus important ! Gîte idéalement situé pour faire bons nombres de visite. Super pour de jeunes enfants qui peuvent jouer sans risque aux abords du gîte. Enfin communication idéale avec les propriétaires ! Merci !!!

Très belle maison conforme au descripif, très belle pièce à vivre avec cuisine/salon/salle à manger et cheminée (très agréable) A l'étage 3 chambre, sdb/wc (s'il faut trouver un "hic" une 2ème sdb serait la bienvenue) Merci à Marie-France et son mari pour le bois et le bon lait de vache. Plein de chose à visiter dans la régions Encore merci et bonne fin d'année
