About this property
Hartley Wintney - Charming Cottage in Village/ Wood Burning Stove/ Parking/ Wifi
This 19th Century cottage is full of character and charm which has recently been fully refurbished. It comes with up to date features such as:-
• flat screen TV's in the lounge and main bedroom;
• Aga wood burning stove;
• Nespresso coffee machine;
• new en-suite with standalone bath.
Upon entering the cottage, you will find the following rooms off the hallway:-
The Lounge containing:-
• the wood burning stove;
• flat screen TV with Netflix;
• dvd player together with a selection of dvd's;
• characterful beamed ceiling.
The Family Bathroom containing a shower, basin, wc, and illuminated cabinet with shaver socket.
The Dining room/ Kitchen containing:-
• dining table and chairs for six people;
• wine storage cabinet;
• Nest heating control;
• Internet/ DAB radio;
• fridge/ freezer;
• filter coffee maker;
• cooker hob and oven;
• dishwasher;
• washing machine;
• microwave;
• kettle;
• toaster;
• cooking dishes, pans and utensils.
The bedrooms on the first floor are accessed by a narrow winding staircase. The main bedroom has the following attributes:-
• beautiful beamed vaulted ceiling;
• attractive ornate chandelier light;
• wall mounted flat screen TV;
• en-suite bathroom with attractive suite including a stand alone bath (with low ceiling).
The second (smaller) bedroom overlooks the rear garden and has ornate lighting, a double bed and matching furniture.
The third bedroom is called The Bay Tree Room which is a quirky twin (singles) bedroom accessed through the garden. This is a delightful cosy room with a low ceiling and has its own WC and wash hand basin (cold water only). The furnishings have been carefully chosen to create a country cottage feel.
Outside
Access to the rear patio and garden is from the dining area where you can sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun.
When you arrive you at the cottage (which is located on a side road off the A30) you will be able to use the dedicated off-road parking ( space for two cars) on the driveway only a few metres away from the front door. There is a sensor light which will help you at night with access. It is also overlooked by a CCTV camera for your security.
Your safety is also my priority so there are smoke detectors throughout the house (including the bedrooms) and also carbon monoxide detectors. In addition there is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and third bedroom.
This is a charming cottage, refurbished to a high standard so it should be ideal for your next trip!
