Welcome to our little slice of paradise... Claviers is a beautiful unspoilt village and the villa is in a unique position, just 5 minutes from the centre, but nestled into the hills.

Set across 2 floors the villa sleeps 8. On the first floor is the kitchen, large salon, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, a large bathroom (with bath and separate shower), a shower room and a toilet, all surrounded by a large terrace overlooking the pool and the gardens. On the ground floor is a further twin bedroom, a large second "kids" salon (with two extra sofa beds) and utility room. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

Both the salon and kitchen open out onto separate covered eating areas and the house sits in a terraced garden. The house has wi-fi.

There is a lovely pool area (enclosed by young child-proof fencing and gates) with its own outdoor shower and bar perfect for rose by the pool on sun drenched afternoons. If you're here when they're in season there are fig, olive and cherry trees in the garden...

Car parking is in the grounds and comfortably fits 4 cars.

The house is a genuine 5 minute walk into the heart of the village, with beautiful views both of the village and across the valley to Bargemon.

The village is beautiful, and has a central square, two bars (the Circle and the Wine Bar), three delicious restaurants, a boulangerie and a village shop. Life revolves around the square and boules pitch where everyone gathers each evening for drinks, games and a chat. If you love wine, this is the place to be - so many vineyards to explore nearby including the famous Chateau D'Esclans home to Whispering Angel.

Our family has been coming to this wonderful part of France now for over 50 years and each generation loves it in turn...

Beautiful villa with large pool.

Gorgeous spacious villa. Updated bathrooms and Aircon in each bedroom was very appreciated as the temperature hit 38 degrees. Lovely large pool enjoyed by all with a bar to easily grab your drinks and beer. Little tricky to get to the villa as it's a hilltop village so roads are very windy but once you get there, the village is great. Lots of lovely restaurants and bar and lovely wine bar with lovely views. Great atmosphere.

Great location with views over medieval village

We have just spent a very relaxing week at this house. The pool area was very secluded and had a very pleasant bar area where the family gathered every night for an aperitif. I especially loved the view of the beautiful village of Claviers from the eating terrace & the kitchen window. The house was well located and we enjoyed a short daily trip to a different village every morning before spending the afternoons by the pool. The house was well equipped with a BBQ & the beds were comfortable & the AC in the bedrooms was very much appreciated. We hope to return soon!

Villa très agréable à l'écart du tourisme de masse

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Nick. Nick a été très réactif et aidant dans la préparation du séjour. La maison est spacieuse et reste relativement fraiche malgré la température extérieure, la piscine est très agréable à toute heure de la journée. Le village, accessible en quelques minutes à pieds, est très paisible et charmant. Lieu idéal pour le repos ou pour visiter les environs (fantastiques Gorges du Verdon à 1h de route). Nous recommandons cette location et son propriétaire!

We have owned this property since 2005. In 1975 Michelle's parents bought a house in the middle of the village (which they still own) and the family fell in love with Claviers… and we just can’t stop coming back. We love introducing people to this gorgeous part of France that is still very unspoilt.

We live in Northamptonshire (UK) and I'm a lawyer and Michelle runs a market research business.

Why they chose this property

Claviers is a really unspoilt ‘real French’ village with a rich history. It’s beating heart is the village square near to the village boules pitch and local bar and restaurants. Our villa is a short walk from the centre so it’s easy to have the best of both village life and peaceful times with family and friends lounging around the pool.

What makes this property unique

We love the fact that the property is large enough to be spacious, to have a decent sized garden, to have no-one overlooking it, to have pool but is also a genuine 3 minute walk to the boulangerie and 5 minutes into the heart of the village, its square, bars and restaurants. The property has a lovely feel about it that we fell in love with instantly, gorgeous views and a fantastic pool with pool bar which is great fun to sit around with a glass of rose wine.
