3 Bedroom Country Cottage, close to town, great for fishing, cycling, walking

Lying on the outskirts of the Limousin and Périgord areas, the town of Montbron was built on the natural spur of a small hill dominating the Tardoire valley, our cottage is situated about 1km out of town close to the Tardoire River.
The cottage itself consists of, on the ground floor, a large kitchen with dining area with double doors to the outside, lounge and downstairs shower with toilet. Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with king size bed, two bedrooms each with single beds and the family bathroom. The outside of the property is enclosed with parking either on the driveway or in front of the garage.
From the cottage you can take a leisurely riverside stroll taking in views of Chateaux whilst making your way to the Moulin de la Tardoire Restaurant which has recently earnt its place in the Michelin Guide. There are also cycling and walking tracks a short distance from the house.
The town of Montbron has all the amenities that you could need such as Intermarche with Drive, Aldi, Bakeries, Bars, Restaurants, Pizzeria, Tea Room, Pharmacies, Bank, Post Office, Swimming Pool, Canoë / Kayak and Tourist Office. A short drive away (19km) at Saint-Estèphe in the Dordogne you can spend time on the beach in front of the leisure lake with watersports and walking tracks. Also in the Dordogne the beautiful town of Brantôme is only 44km away, Cognac in the Charente is 72km away and is defiantly worth a visit to tour the many Cognac Houses.
