A unique house, very spacious, bright and airy. Centrally situated in Abeilhan a town near Pezenas, Roujan, and Margon, Population over 1200 at last count. surrounded by vineyards. (Great place to buy wine), Have a drink or two in the local bar (great bar) play the Petanq, mingle with locals.
A small balcony in front of the first floor entrance, large, private terrace with an astounding view at the back of the house.
Ground floor: Large storage/garage area with washing machine, a TV room, a small court yard and a shower
First floor: Large entrace-reception room with a window-door, Overlooking on the square, a unique home that is full of character, and history. There is a nice size eat-in fully equipped kitchen.. A cozy living room with a working fire place. A second fire place in the reception room. Both living room and kitchen have an access to the terrace. You can have your meal in the terrace or just enjoy the view with your favorite drink. In this part of France the favorite drink is either the local wine or the Pastis.
The house has all together 4 bedrooms 3 bedrooms on one floor with a shower/bathroom and another master bedroom with a shower on the next floor.

wonderful house and great location

Had the fire place going and then had the second fireplace going too. Just a blissful stay. The beds are grand, and the kitchen too. Just loved the place. Walked around the town and had a great Pizza at the restaurant. Bought some wine, and all in all we had fun.

Comfortable and neat home

We had a great stay at this lovely, spacious home in a charming village. We were only four adults, but the house can comfortably accommodate another four people. The house is well equipped and situated next to a lively pub and restaurant. Across the road is a small shop and bakery where we got our fresh croissants every morning (they were delicious!). There is a fabulous view from the terrace, which we only got to enjoy once as it was rather cold and rainy (the house was warm though). I would recommend Christine's home.

A lovely home....set within a delightful village

Renovated to modern day standards with well equipped kitchen and bathrooms....but retaining the character of a lovely french home. Set within a quaint village surrounded by vineyards and stunning countryside. Local Bakery, Pharmacy and Restaurant nearby....where you can enjoy wines & specialities of the region.....the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had one small problem with the TV reception but that was rectified very quickly by the management team....Stephanie and Esther.....whom went out of their way to make us and our two well behaved dogs feel very welcome which was very much appreciated. A most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you

I love France and have done so since my early teens. My daughter is bi-lingual as we lived in France when she was young, much to
my embarrassment as my French is, well, you could say, interesting. I enjoy traveling, walking, theatre, cinema, gallery wandering and live music. I am also an avid reader and I write education articles for fun. Education has been my life for many years and I guess always will be.

Why they chose this property

I had been looking for a home for some time and was losing the will to continue researching when I saw an advert on line and contacted an agent. He was British, understanding and helpful, and he showed up on time and listened to me. He showed me four houses. This was the first and I immediately connected with the house and the village. It was a feeling rather than a thought process but it was strong. I love the small veranda at the front where I often sit and watch the world go by. I love the staircase and the tiled floors and the double French windows. The house is peaceful and calm and offers me enough rooms to drift about, read and relax. It’s my sanctuary.
