About this property
Amazing views of the Prescott National Forest! 🌲
This is a uniquely renovated, 450 sq ft., 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cabin located in the heart of the Prescott National Forest. This spot is perfect for people interested in peaceful getaways, wonderful spring/summer/fall climates, panoramic views of the forest, bird watching, hiking, or just chilling out on the deck overlooking the trees.
After turning off Highway I-69, you'll start a scenic 8 mile drive up 1,000 feet into the woods. This area, historically known for gold mining, is now popular for weekend and summer cabins. Even though you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, Costco, Trader Joe's, Wildflower Bread Company, Five Guys Burgers, Texas Roadhouse, and Am/Pm are just 15 minutes away. There is also a fun German restaurant and bar on Lynx Lake, which is less than 10 minutes from the house (open Thursday - Sunday).
The Marfa Mansion has high speed wireless internet and a smart flat-screen TV with Amazon FireStick apps (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc.). The kitchen has a stove/oven, full size sink, refrigerator, microwave, and filtered water dispenser. Also, there is plenty of outdoor seating on the deck and in the back yard around the fire pit (think, s'mores!).
Thanks for checking out this great listing! We had so much fun creating this unique home in the woods and enjoy every moment up there. Please let us know if you have any questions about the house and/or area!

We're Beau and Logan! Thanks for checking out our listing :)
The two of us met while traveling through Central America and recently returned to get hitched on a Nicaraguan beach. Since getting married, we've kept our wanderlust alive by splitting time between the beautiful National Forest in Prescott, Arizona, and a little town near Lake Arenal in Costa Rica. Traveling, English teaching, home building/renovating, and kitesurfing keep us busy and happy.
Feel free to send us a message with any questions you may have about the house! You're gonna love it!
