Cosy and relaxing townhouse, ideal location, lovely views !

This immaculate semi-detached townhouse on three levels overlooks La Marquesa Golf Course, providing very quick and easy access to the greens. The house is cosy and attractive, both inside and out, and is well-equipped and peaceful with all you could need for a relaxing vacation. On the ground floor is a half bathroom, an open plan lounge/kitchen and the dining area, providing seating for four. For al fresco eating, the spacious front terrace allows you and your friends and family to dine with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and golf course. Upstairs are one bedroom with double bed, and one twin-bedded room - both have spacious double wardrobes and ceiling fans. The bathroom comes with a bathtub as well as a shower - the water pressure is excellent. The best views, and the most private sunbathing, can be enjoyed from the delightful rooftop sun terrace, which features two sun-loungers and a beach umbrella. The gated communal pool is a 1 minute walk along the pathway from the house. Folding sun loungers are available at the house for you to take to the pool. The surrounding area allows for some enjoyable walking with good views and some elevation.

Within a 7 minute walk, and alongside the golf club are a supermarket and many restaurant choices, featuring Asian, international and local cuisine, Irish pub-style fare and cafes. For more entertainment/night life and even more choice, there is Ciudad Quesada, only a few minutes' drive away. There are open markets close by at Rojales and the Sunday Zoco market. The closest beach is 10 minutes' drive at Guardamar del Segura. Valencia, to the north, and Cartagena, to the south, are cities worth exploring.
In case you feel like staying home there is a selection of paperbacks, games, a pack of cards, dominoes, UK television, a DVD player, high speed WI-FI and free Netflix service.

Plenty to occupy the kids nearby, with the beaches of Santa Pola, La Marina, Guardamar del Segura and Torrevieja. Also a big water park:

A golfing view

A lovely house but up a steep hill and has many steps. Not suitable for less mobile people. We had a throughly enjoyable stay and many good meals at a number of the local restaurants.

GREAT PROPERTY ON LA MARQUESA GOLF CLUB

Yvonne villa was perfect for myself and my sister, Everything you could need was thought of. The villa has a lovely view over the golf club. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and supermarket in the golf club. Communications went smoothly with Mary and we didn't have any problems. Would stay here again.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt im Ort ein Super Markt,mehrere Apotheken und Tankstellen. Rechts am Haus ist Senioren Residenz.Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen herlichen Ausblick auf eine Golfanlage.Parkplätze sind ca.50 Meter vom Haus entfernt,man kann ans Haus ranfahren um seine Einkäufe zu entladen. Es ist ca.12 Kilometer von dem Strand entfernt.

A great place to stay for a relaxing holiday

Having never been to the Alicante area before, we weren't sure what to expect. From making first contact to book the property, communication with Yvonne has been very easy, and nothing has been too much trouble. The one thing I hadn't realised before we set off was that I didn't have directions to get to the property, but I'd downloaded some free off-line maps which took me right to the door. Our outbound flight was delayed by 90 minutes, but Mary, Yvonne's local representative was still waiting for us when we arrived. (Really appreciated that) The house has everything you could need for your holiday. It's easy access to restaurants (Pizza Restaurante 222 really good food and good value) and supermarkets, and there's great view over the golf course. The sun terrace at the top of the house was a real sun trap. The area was quiet and peaceful and you feel safe. It's easy access to tour the area with Guardamar del Segura, Santa Pola, Elche and Torrevieja well worth visiting. Alicante is a pleasant city with lots of eating places and some lovely bars near the marina for an afternoon cocktail. Rojales itself is a great little place, and the cave houses (quite well hidden) worth a look. Again, plenty of places for coffee or to get a meal. Where you stay can make or break your holiday, and staying at this property certainly helped to make our holiday.

Why they chose this property

A green and calm oasis of peace and serenity, ideally located and with a very amenable climate year-round. Ideally appointed for a short stay or a longer term arrangement with all the facilities required for working from home, enjoying your downtime when needed and a cosy, welcoming ambience.

Rojales is a typical agricultural Spanish village with the River Segura running through the centre of town and traditional cave homes which display a picture of the history of the area.

The town actually covers quite a large area with many popular residential urbanisations surrounding the town centre. The residential area is very attractive with pretty gardens and swimming pools.

The region is located just inland from the coastal area of Guardamar del Segura on the southern Costa Blanca.

What makes this property unique

Fresh air, lovely surroundings for walking, restaurant 2 minutes from the house, great access to motorways, seaside and shopping. Best of both worlds: quiet when you want it, activity when you want it. Perfect!
