3 story, open floor plan, fishing available in backyard pond, Robert Trent Jones Golf Course is one mile away, 5 miles from Auburn University. WiFi available. Three bedrooms upstairs and two full bathrooms, master on main floor and one and a half baths. "Man Cave" basement with pool table, flat screen, couches, King bed and a set of bunk beds , 1 full bathroom, and work out area. Two back porches to view the pond. Upstairs has grill.

We do live in this home part time, so our pictures are on the walls, and our personal belongings are in the drawers. We do enjoy sharing our home with families that this does not offend and that take care of our home.

This is the best property that we have ever rented to date. The home , the area, the town were all amazing. The owners were equally as amazing. We had a small mishap and scorched a couple deck boards and they wer so understanding. We will be back to the area and rent again! 5 start property.

Great location for a golf trip

The house was amazing! We had 8 guys in the house with plenty of room for all of us. We loved the back porch and how quiet the location was. It was only a few minutes drive to Grand National. We would definitely stay again!

We rented this home for a wedding in Auburn. The home is amazing (and very large). It is very clean and has a cabin feel. We loved the layout, the entire home, and the location of the wedding. Communication with the owners was great!

Perfect Robert Trent Jones Golf trip House!

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Literally less than 10 minutes from the Grand National clubhouse. The house is beautiful, very spacious, with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Thank you so much for letting us use your home! Highly recommend!!! Five star all the way!!

Great retreat for a larger group or family

We had seven adult men in town for a tennis tournament. the property is spacious, well appointed, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. My only suggestion is to upgrade the bunk beds in the basement. Highly recommend.

Absolutely Perfect!

Our family stayed here for a few nights as our daughter just graduated from Auburn University. What a great home! We felt as if we were on a retreat in the middle of nowhere (forest/pond) yet we were so close to town! We cooked family dinners, played pool/pong/cards, fished, canoed, golfed RTJ and had an amazing, relaxing, absolutely perfect long weekend. This home was the best place we’ve ever stayed in the Opelika/Auburn area!

The lake view is very nice. The pool table and sticks are better than any we have run into before. It was nice they had some basics in fridge that a traveler might only need a touch of. Some Tv stations are blacked out so record your favorites at home. The house is about a mile from Grand National Golf Course which is a great place to play.

Auburn Grad Weekend 2023

Our daughter was graduating from Auburn and although we only live 45 minutes away it was much easier to have a group of our family and friends closer by to celebrate! The property is amazing everything described and more! The host was super accommodating and so easy to get in touch with! Everything met or exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back again in 3 years when our son graduates if not sooner!

Home away from home!

Our team was in the area for nearly 2 months and this home could not have been better. The attention to detail is like a 5 star hotel. Very comfortable beds, kitchens equipped with anything you could possibly need and in excellent condition, AC that worked perfectly, showers with good water pressure. Location is almost unbeatable. Very close to town, but also secluded enough to guarantee a peaceful stay. The owners are very nice and kept in contact once in a while to make sure everything was to our liking, I would recommend this property to anyone, you won't be disappointed! We have certainly enjoyed our stay with Scott and Janice.

Good but not great

The house is in a wonderful location and we had a great time however we would not book this one again. There is plenty of space and its nicely appointed but its incomplete, dirty and unsafe in many aspects. There were LOTS of cockroaches in the kitchen and basement areas. The bathrooms had old almost finished soap bars, used razors and other personal items in them. The entire house is filled with personal items in closets, drawers and the walls are covered in family pics which makes it feel a bit creepy. Its almost as if the family bugged out suddenly. The gym is well equipped but there are floor to ceiling mirrors just leaning on the walls. This is incredibly dangerous as one tap from a weight or bump from a foot could result in a major injury. The outside porch has no railings on the bottom level (about 5 foot above ground) and an unmarked step down where three of our party tripped and one sprained an ankle. There is also no lighting on the porch where this step is making it particularly dangerous at night. The dog area outside has a hole in the fence by the corner of the house so we couldn't leave the dogs there as advertised. The "dog room" is full of construction equipment and debris and is unuseable. There are incomplete door frames (not trimmed out) in the basement area. The garage is cluttered and also has steps with no rail system. This house is basically a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would discourage anyone with small children from staying here. We asked the landlord to consider a refund they didn't respond. They did wish our daughter who sprained her ankle well and said they had insurance if we had any medical claims. I have stayed in many online rental properties in about 10 states and internationally and this property was the most unprepared I have stayed in. Again, nice home, nice location but in my opinion, it needs work before it could be a safe rental. We had a good time but would have booked another home if the true condition was revealed in the listing.

I am sorry that you weren't completely happy. I do hope that future guest look at the other reviews of the many five star happy guest, and give us a chance to provide them a great stay. We do live in this house part time, so yes there are our pictures in the house, and personal items in the closets. I am thankful that we love our home and many of our other guest have as well.
