About this property
GreenMyre Lodges - The Nordic, Sleeps 6
Greenmyre Lodges are constructed to a very high standard. They are solid log throughout - including internal walls - so there's no cladding or boarding, and the cathedral roof and magnificent beams give a wonderful sense of space.
We have two Lodges, the Malvern with two twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, one en suite and the Nordic with three bedrooms, bathroom and cloakroom with toilet and washing facilities plus shaving points. The twin beds can be put together in the largest bedrooms in each lodge.
If you want to do a little clothes washing just to make you feel at home. no problem, washing and drying machines are in the Lodges.
The kitchen(which has everything you will need) is fully fitted.
The sitting / dining area is very spacious and of high quality along with the crockery and cutlery and all of the above rests on a solid oak floor which is fitted throughout the lodges except in the bathrooms, they have tiled floors. For group bookings from seven to ten people, both lodges will have to be booked.
If you have just had a bad game of golf and you want to take your mind off it then why not watch a bit of T/V. We have a 32” plasma in the Malvern and a 42” in the Norvic.(I picked that one) including freesat and DVD players.
For the people that insist on keeping fit, we have a small gym with enough machines to take you to your required pain threshold and then you can sit in a chair while you watch the movie Gone With The Wind or another movie of your choice, on our 2.4 metre cinema screen. (when available)
Catherine and I live next to the Lodges so if we have missed anything all you have to do is let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The lodge was spacious and well equiped. Was located in a good location for visiting St Andrews or the various coastal towns eastwards. I would certainly be happy to visit again.
Lodge was very spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms. Living area was also a great size with the kitchen having all the crockery and utesils you need. Area is very well kept and peaceful. Would stay again.
Great lodge and location, everything you need and friendly host, had a great 3 days, easy to get to all local attractions. Village has great shop for all your needs.
The property is in a lovely quiet spot. Easy access though to surrounding areas.
We were impressed by the size of the property and it felt like home from home. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.
Thank you Robert & Catherine for a wonderful 10 days. Being my first trip to Scotland I couldn’t have spent it at a better place. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality
Kind regards
Rodney
The property was lovely and well equipped. Plenty of space, very clean, lots of hot water and comfy beds. Location was idea for everything thing we had planned. Our hosts were lovely people.
We spent 3 nights in the greenmyre lodge.
Excellent check in with hosts.
Everything you need for a self catering stay.

Lovely decking to sit out at night.
We would definitely come back again.
This house is an authentic log cabin but with all the modern conveniences that you need for a great stay. The house is immaculate and in a great rural location with amazing views over farmland. The hosts were super helpful and very responsive and I'd absolutely recommend this property if you're looking for a peaceful base for your trip to Fife, with great access to St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee.
We truly enjoyed this property...absolutely beautiful inside with the log cabin feel. Short drive 15 minutes to train, that takes you right to all the major cities. Then you can comeback to a quiet cabin in the country and Rest. Plenty of cooking utensils to make meals and the Co-op is just up the road for groceries. The beds were really comfortable and plenty of room to stretch out or have privacy.
We enjoyed our stay in what was a very clean and cosy lodge. The living/kitchen area was a good size for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. The lodge provided an good base for our visits to nearby attractions at Dundee, Perth, Cupar and St Andrews. The owners made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Many thanks :)
Our stay was in a comfortable 3 bedroom log-style cabin, fairly new with nice furnishings, well equipped kitchen, and a bath and a half which was very handy for four adults. The grounds were well kept and the cabin a delight. We really enjoyed our stay and got great value for our money. We'll be glad to come again!
Fantastic property with ample space for my family and fully equipped with everything you need. Hosts were fantastic and ensured we knew how things worked and we had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Highly recommend this beautiful Norwegian log cabin and certainly return again.
Beautiful lodge, very clean and extremely comfortable. Situated well to visit St Andrews, Tillicoultry, Cupar and the beaches at Aberdour and Leven. Should we visit the area again we would stay here again. Would also recommend to friends and family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our break in this lovely lodge. It was all just as advertised and spotlessly clean . There was good communication from Bob and a lovely welcome on arrival from him and Catherine. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing break and I would happily recommend to anyone.
