lovely place to stay
This is our 5th stay in the cottage and the changes made since our last visit some years ago were very welcome. Has everything you could need, close to the beach/promenade but still peaceful. Clean on arrival and clean when we left as i don,t cook on holiday and we were out everyday, lovely and warm when we got back in after our days out. Would recommend .

Our second time here. Love the cottage has everything you need. The location excellent. The only negative is the double mattress too soft could do with replacing otherwise would recommend old school yard cottage highly. Will definitely be returning for a third time probably more.

excellent
We have been many years to Sheringham 70yrs and love the fact it hardly changes.
The property School Yard Cottage is very comfortable, clean, everything you need, very well situated and parking for a small car a bonus. Stayed in many properties over the years and all have been good through Keys Holidays.

Perfect holiday cottage
We have stayed in Sheringham 3 times and this is by far the best holiday cottage we have had. It is tastefully decorated with lovely curtains. Although the kitchen is small it has all the essentials. Beds are comfy and shower great. A bonus to have a washbasin in the twin room. It cannot be faulted. We will stay again.

Sadly I had to leave.
I loved the cottage, it was quaint and clean and sweet smelling. Everything had been thought out so well and there was nothing I was short of. The position, too, was perfect, a couple of minutes to the High Street and shops in one direction and a couple of minutes to the sea in the other.
My one concern was the fact that, after a four and a half hour journey, I then had to go to collect the keys to the property. This meant finding a car park, parking up, collecting the keys and other information, back to the car park and then locating the cottage. I wonder if there is a valid reason for not having a key safe?
Sadly, through no fault of anyone but myself, I had a fall as soon as I arrived at the cottage and broke a metacarpal, then on Sunday, walking along the beach I landed very heavily on my right foot, and broke the top of my right tibia, meaning I had to be fetched home. Sad end.

Great location and good value for money.
A very well equipped cottage in a great location, close to the sea and all amenities. Really good value for money and great to have a parking space directly outside.

Excellent location
Very good location, comfy cottage, everything we needed.
Garden was in need of attention.
Some damp in the rooms.
Smelly conservatory.
Ideally located for visiting locality with no need to travel by car. The cottage was very spacious and comfortable although a little "tired" in places (eg the bathroom area is in need of upgrading). Apart from that we had a most enjoyable stay.
The property is well situated for access to the beach and town. The owners have tried hard to make the accommodation comfortable and well equipped. The only down side is that the staircase is steep, which a less able person might find difficult to negotiate. We had an enjoyable stay.

Well-located Cottage
The cottage was in an ideal location, just a few minutes' walk from all the amenities of Sheringham. There was a Sainsbury's just a couple of minutes' walk away and a Tesco about ten minutes' walk away. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. There were a lot of leaflets about local attractions as well as a wide variety of books and DVDs - board games and toys had been removed because of Covid. The parking space in the front garden was handy and could fit a medium-sized car.
