Our weeks stay
We’ve stayed in Canary Cottage many times and have always thoroughly enjoyed our time there with the home from home feel.
My only disappointment is that there is no Wi-Fi .

Return visit
We returned to canary cottage knowing what to expect. A cosy cottage with everything you need. The only downside was the fact the internal doors would not fasten shut and our dog had free roam of the house. Something we do not allow at home but she really took advantage!

A lovely cottage, so beautiful and clean
Canary Cottage is such a lovely place to stay. There is so much time, love and care been put into this property by its owners. So many lovely things to look at in the cottage. There were so many things that reminded me of my childhood. The location is excellent.

Cosy and comfortable cottage, in a lovely location
Canary Cottage is a very warm and cosy cottage. Traditional furnishings but all very comfortable and clean. Ideal location for us on Beeston Common, for dog walks and easy walking to get to the beach, town and indeed the famous Beeston Bump! The owners and neighbours very friendly and helpful. Would stay again

Lovely cottage
An excellent cottage for a stay in N.Norfolk. It was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you could need. We loved the garden and enjoyed relaxing out there as the weather improved. Upon first entering the lounge seemed a bit drab but perhaps that was because of the dreary weather outside! Situation was ideal and quiet and the neighbours very friendly.
Would happily rebook if I wanted a cottage in that area.

A week away
Ideally located in a quiet cul de sac just a nice stroll into the centre of Sheringham and with easy acces to the main road to Cromer. We were actually met on arrival by the owners Jan and David who made us very welcome and provided lots of information on places to eat and shop. The cottage is spacious with two good size bedrooms and lounge, large dining room and well appointed kitchen. The bathroom seemed slightly dated but perfectly functional and immaculately clean, as was the whole house. The stairs to go up are quite steep and narrow and may be a problem for some people, but this appears to be the design of these cottages, an added bonus is the nice enclosed private garden with three sets of tables and chairs, nice flower beds and for us sunshine all day.
I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this property.

A holiday in a difficult year
Despite having to move my June holiday to October because of Covid 19, I was lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy being by the sea. I have stayed in this area before in a different cottage and like the quietness and the easy parking. All the facilities were great. However, as this was the first holiday on my own since my partner died and I will look for somewhere smaller next time.
