200 year old house, very rustic, close to several beaches of the village of Sintra, considered one of the most beautiful and romantic villages of Portugal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ideal for resting, hiking in the mountains, visiting the numerous historical monuments and making long bike tours.

You can enjoy wonderful beaches and enjoy the lush landscapes of the mountains.

The house has 3 bedrooms, two WC,
Kitchen: fully equipped - with vitro-ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, etc., everything for you to prepare your meals.
2 Complete bathrooms.
In all rooms there is television.
The house has bath towels and linen.
There is easy on-site parking

Bien pour amateurs plages sauvages, randonnées, et pour visiter Sintra et Lisbonne

Maison ancienne complètement rénovée. A une vingtaine de minutes à pied de la plage Praia de Adraga, route étroite avec des voitures, mais il y a aussi un chemin alternatif à travers la campagne via Rua de ValMarinha. Almoçagene est resté très "village de campagne", avec les bruits des poules, chiens, chats, etc des petites rues étroites où les voitures circulent difficilement, par contraste avec Praia Grande un peu plus loins qui est plutôt résidences secondaires. Bien pour les amateurs de randonnée, petite plage sauvage, point le plus à l'ouest du Portugal, massif/parc de Sintra, et très beaux points de vue. Proche de la ville historique de Sintra, ses palais Nacional et de la Pena, et ses nombreux musées, on peut d'ailleurs prendre le bus si on ne veut pas avoir à garer la voiture (1/2 h de bus). Pratique pour aller visiter le centre de Lisbonne (50 min), nous avions réservé des parkings à l'avance.

La propriété n'est pas à 500m de la plage mais à près d'un km. Vous avez deux options : à pied sur une route sinueuse sans trottoir ( les conducteurs locaux n'ont pas compris les limitations de vitesse ) ou en voiture, mais ne comptez pas vous garer à l'arrivée. La propriété est en fait mitoyenne et les voisins sont du genre bruyants. Un chien peut hurler à la mort toute une nuit juste sous votre fenêtre de chambre. Pas d'extérieur hormis la petite terrasse que vous voyez sur la photo avec autant d'intimité que si vous étiez sur le trottoir. Vous pouvez ( peut être ! ) garer votre voiture sur une placette située près de la maison, au milieu des détritus ( J'ai quelques photos édifiantes ). Le sentier qui longe les falaises jusqu'au cap de la Roca est spectaculaire mais avec des passages franchement difficiles. En bref n'y allez ni pour vous reposer ni avec des enfants.

Une location sympa dans un village authentique proche de Sintra. Les plages proches sont idéales pour surfer. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très accueillants. J'y retournerais avec plaisir.

Very nice, newly renovated and fully equipped house.

We (2 adults, one baby) stayed for four weeks in the house. For the most part, we found the house as described by the owners. The house was recently and nicely renovated. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They were always available in case we needed anything. Fresh bed linen and towels were provided every week. The beautiful beach Adraga was pretty close; however rather 1km than 500m. The house has two bedrooms with a double bed each and one additional single bed in the hall that connects the two bedrooms. So, I would say it's rather two bedrooms than three.

Behalve dat er geen contactpersoon bij aankomst aanwezig was, was het verblijf prettig. Het huisje is ruim, maar tijdens ons verblijf in augustus wel wat vochtig.
