About this property

Stunning flat in quiet surroundings, 10 min walk to Ascot Racecourse

This modern one bedroom newly furnished apartment is within 5 min walking distance of Ascot High St and 10 min walking distance to the main entrance to Ascot Racecourse. Wells Lodge is not overlooked and is located in 0.7 acres on a lovely quiet road with secure off-street parking behind gates. Wi-fi included.

The living area has a sofa bed, TV, dining table that seats 4 plus a desk. The kitchenette is open plan and has a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster plus crockery/cutlery/glasses/etc.. There is a compact bedroom and a shower room, fresh linen and towels included. Please note that, due to the sloping ceilings, the bed is low and there is no cupboard for hanging clothes but there are hooks on the bedroom wall and hangers. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer are available. We do have a travel cot for babies, please request in advance.

The property is set in a private garden, with access up a flight of steps from the parking area. Please note that guests do not have an outdoor seating area.

Virginia Water, Windsor Great Park, Windsor Castle and Legoland are all a short drive away. Taxi to/from Ascot Station (£5) or Heathrow (around £30) are easy to book if you need one.

We will be usually be here to welcome you and ensure you are comfortable after which we will leave you to enjoy your break. If we cannot be available on your arrival, we will agree alternative arrangements with you. We will be contactable throughout your stay if you have any questions.

Excellent stay!

We stayed for a weekend as we were going to the races at Ascot, perfect location for this, we just walked. Rachael was a fabulous hostess and communicated very well with us. The flat was immaculate and had everything we needed.

Great stay between selling our property and buying the next!

My partner and I stayed for 2 months to break the chain while selling our property and completing on the next. It was a great little set-up to call home for the few months we needed somewhere to stay. The property is a nice, quiet location, and was perfectly sized and equipped for our stay. Flat in Ascot

Keurig appartement boven een garage, zo te zien vrij nieuw, vriendelijke verhuurster. Woonkamer prima, badkamer vrij klein en slaapkamer erg klein met laag bed. Zelf koken niet mogelijk behalve in magnetron, en het zou fijn geweest zijn om buiten te kunnen zitten. Omdat het alleen via een buitentemperatuur te bereiken is niet aan te raden voor iemand met loopproblemen.

Stunning apartment

This is a lovely apartment and ideal for a couple. It was immaculately presented and well equipped. Rachael was very welcoming. It’s in a great location near Ascot High Street but very quiet and private. It has easy access to the racecourse and railway station. The Stag pub on the High Street does quite decent food especially Sunday roast and there is a very nice Italian restaurant called Zia Maria just a 10 minute walk away. We had a very enjoyable stay. Short stay at Ascot

This apartment is ideal for two people. It is within a few minutes' walk of Ascot High Street and the racecourse and it's a fairly easy drive to visit gardens at Kew, Wisley and Hampton Court. The apartment is in the grounds of the owners' house and is very private and quiet. Rachael was very welcoming and helpful and we would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Perfect!

Quite literally our home from home since late February, this beautiful apartment has absolutely everything you could ask for. The location is excellent! Just a short walk from Ascot High Street's many shops, restaurants and bars, world famous Royal Ascot Racecourse and the mainline Ascot station. The apartment itself is in the most beautiful, secure and peaceful grounds with parking and private access. Windsor (and Legoland) is just a 5-10 minute drive away. The apartment is super comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with a fully equipped kitchen area, dining area and comfortable lounge area, separate bedroom and shower room. There's also a desk area and plenty of storage space. Equipped with TV, DVD player, washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, storage and hanging space, gas central heating and alarm. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable, the shower is excellent with constant hot water, and the whole apartment is super clean and well cared for. Our hosts have been brilliant. So accommodating, kind and considerate. A truly lovely family and it's been our absolute pleasure to be their guests. I highly recommend this property.

Short but sweet

I stayed only a few days but got the feeling that I was being very well looked after, even though I was left to myself after introduction. Rachael and her husband made me feel very welcome on arrival. I was impressed when presented with a folder of information not only about the very comfortable accommodation and contents but also information, menus from local restaurants and maps of the local area of Ascot. A very relaxing experience.

We moved to Ascot in 2017 and chose the location because of the proximity to shops, restaurants, etc in the High St, the station and many parks and forests, most notably Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water.

What makes this property unique

We are a very short walk from the High St and Racecourse, but in a very quiet and secluded location.
