Rural french farmhouse with a pool in beautiful countryside

Set in the chestnut growing area of the southern Auvergne, our old French farmhouse is ideal for one or two weeks family holiday. There is a spacious sitting room with two sofas and other armchairs. A large fireplace has a wood burning stove, and we supply a basket of logs should you need it. There is free Wi-Fi, and a selection of books and games for your use.
The large family bedroom has both a double bed and also a single bed. We can add a cot or child's bed if you wish. There is another double bedroom, and a smaller room with sturdy bunk beds suitable for adults if necessary as well as for children over 6 years old.
There is a large shower room with a walkin-shower, washbasin and wc, also a scullery with a dishwasher, a washing machine, fridge and microwave.
The kitchen, with a modern oven, induction hob, toaster, and kettle , has everything one needs for some serious cooking. This room has a lovely traditional farmhouse table and gets the morning sun. It is perfect for breakfast and for sitting round planning the day's activities.
We live in the restored barn opposite the farm houuse. The large garden is shared with us and there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peace and calm or to sunbathe by the swimming pool. There are swings for children and seats to take in the amazing views and the sunsets. The farmhouse has its own barbecue area and table and seating for alfresco dining. We are lucky to have a Michelin - starred restaurant only 15 minutes away.
