Cozy duplex, ideal for couples

Duplex, with wifi and free private parking.

Located in the residential part of the town of Isla Playa, attached to the main house (but very private), in a quiet environment, surrounded by nature and with all the comforts. Ideal for couples.

A 5 minute walk from the shops, the beaches:
- of the Cranberry.
- of the Ships.
- del Sable (blue flag).
- from Arnadal.

5 minutes by car from Playa de la Arena (blue flag), divided into La Arena / El Arenal and La Arena / Nudists

The duplex is equipped: Private garden, double bed, 1 seater sofa bed, bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer, flat screen TV in the living room and bedroom, kitchen (fridge freezer, microwave, ceramic hob, washing machine , iron and its table, coffee maker, toaster, casseroles, pans, cutlery ...), sheets, towels, private garden equipped with sun loungers and parasol, private terrace overlooking the estuary of Joyel and Mount Cincho.

Isla is a beautiful town in the municipality of Arnuero, only about 25 minutes by car from the capital of Santander.

A coastal town that offers visitors everything essential for a perfect holiday: beautiful landscapes, a natural environment, very fine sandy beaches, comfortable tourist facilities and endless leisure alternatives. This fact has led to a great transformation in the town, which has gone from being eminently cattle to become one of the most requested tourist centers in the area.

Being a peninsula located between the estuaries of Castellano, Quejo and the Cantabrian Sea, it has a coastal contour of great scenic beauty with wide beaches of fine sand, small coves, impressive cliffs above the Cantabrian, green and wide meadows, mountains and hills rocky, etc. It also constitutes a natural habitat of great importance in which they house birds and other species of interest.

Isla also has a historical and artistic heritage of great importance. The parish church of the seventeenth century, of Baroque mountain style, stands out, one of the best in the region, both for its architecture and its content in artistic works. In civil architecture, review the Carmelite College and the palace of the counts of Isla.

In the gastronomic plane Isla has stood out for having the best vegetables, among them the popular peppers of Isla, and also for its excellent fish - sea bass, sole, mullet, jargos or bonito - and other native species such as clam or barnacle. But, above all, it has stood out for lobster, and other seafood - lobsters, crayfish, crabs, crabs.

Super little retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Isla and this property has everything we needed. It's quiet yet only a short work from bars, restaurants and the beaches, plus the owners were lovely and very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend.

Dúplex muy bonito y limpio

Han sido unicamente dos dias, pero hemos estado fenomenal en el dúplex. Muy completo en equipamiento y con pequeños detalles que gustan. Eso si, es para gente joven o con buena movilidad, ya que para acceder a la planta de arriba tienes que tener cuidado al estar la escalera muy empinada.

Delightful

The apartment was actually nicer than we were expecting, the photos don't do it justice. We had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Juana and Sylvia were charming and very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The complimentary cake, water and jams etc were much appreciated as well as being able to pick a lemon straight from their tree! The property was very secure and had a lovely outlook. We left a Kindle in the apartment and this was posted back to us the next day. We would love to stay here again if we're in the area. Thank you Juana & Sylvia.

Casita duplex con gran encanto

Pues mi mujer y yo realizamos todo tipo de salidas, sitios lujosos, menos lujosos, apartamentos, hoteles de 3,4,5 estrellas. Nos gusta mucho el camping, etc. Pues aquí en casa de Juana Mari y Sylvia, hemos pasodo 5 días de semana Santa 2019, muy a gusto. Coqueto duplex, con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia fantástica. Dentro de una casa ajardinada privada, muy tranquila y relajante, con, doble terraza, una para comer y otra para tumbarte en una tumbona a tomar el sol y estar relajadisimos. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo que quiera pasar unos días o un fin de semana en pareja, de lo más relajado. No falta de nada en la casas. Y si querés algo, solo se lo tienes que pedir a Sylvia o Juana, que son unos encantos de mujeres. Podéis llevar bicis, como a si fue mi caso para disfrutar por las mañanas de senderos o pistas muy bonitos y relajantes. Os gustará. Nosotros sin duda alguna volveremos. Gracias chicas por vuestra atención, asido un placer conoceros.

Beautiful, clean, and cozy

We loved Isla and this adorable apartment. Juana was so nice and welcoming and told us all the places around to see. We had a great time exploring even though we weren't there long. We would've loved to stay longer!

Hemos pasado unos días,en Isla (Cantabria) alojados en la casa El buen gusto. Un pequeño dúplex muy bien decorado, acogedor con buena ubicación, puedes acceder a la playa caminando . Wir haben zu zweit fünf Nächte in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt in Isla, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Juana & ihre Tochter Sylvia waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Ich würde jederzeit wieder zu ihnen kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sylvia parle français et est très à l écoute des besoins. Le linge de maison est fourni et les serviettes de toilette remplacées régulièrement. L appartement est idéalement placé: À l écart des rues très fréquentées mais proche à pied des restaurants et plages. Parfait en tout point pour un couple. La Cantabrie est riche de merveilleux paysages et de gens accueillants.

La propiedad, muy bien. La gestión de la fianza lamentable.

Muy bien la propiedad, ciertamente a estrenar. Limpieza exhaustiva y muy buen gusto en la decoración. Silencio para descansar. Trato cuidado y exquisito, y preocupación en todo momento por el confort de los inquilinos, introduciendo mejoras para una estancia más agradable. Detalles, como pequeños obsequios colocados estratégicamente, bombones, sobaos, incluso sutiles aromas con olorosos no agresivos dispuestos por toda la estancia, hacen sentirse acogido. Desentona con lo cuidado del entorno la plaza de aparcamiento, inexplicablemente fuera del recinto de la propiedad, en un espacio muy reducido y con dificultad para entrar o salir del vehículo. La gestión de la fianza resulta abusiva, como para iniciar una reclamación o pleito. No resulta paritario que en una relación contractual de este tipo se cobre el efectuar la reserva y no al acceder a la propiedad, que el importe iguale casi el total del precio de alquiler, y que la devolución efectiva sea a los diez días de abandonar la propiedad, cuando lo lógico sería la entrega inmediata a la devolución de llaves una vez comprobado el estado de la propiedad. La propiedad muy bien, el trato exquisito, una pena la gestión de la fianza, hecho que a mi juicio disminuye comparativamente la competencia con otros medios de alquiler, motivo por el cual no volveré a contratar con HomeAway en tanto no cambie esta política.

Todo perfecto

Nos ha encantado la semana que hemos pasado en Casa El Buen Gusto, en Isla Playa. La casa es una monada, muy bien aprovechados todos los espacios, muy coqueta, todo nuevo con mucho gusto , no le falta de nada, la limpieza es extraordinaria, está adosada a la casa principal pero sientes mucha privacidad, con exteriores privados para ti. Tanto Juana como Silvia son muy agradables, tienen muchos detalles, están pendientes de si necesitas cualquier cosa pero a la vez respetan tu intimidad. La casa es ideal para parejas, estás a cinco minutos andando de las playas y de la zona comercial con tiendas, supermercados, bares y restaurantes. Si deseas conocer Cantabria, desde alli estás muy bien situada para moverte por todos los rincones que desees conocer. La zona es preciosa y tranquila sin faltarle ningún servicio y la casa muy recomendable. Ana y Doxi

Salut Juana et Silvia, merci pour la semaine magnifique. On a passé vraiment des super vacances chez vous. We had a great time in the area of Isla. The apartment is comfortable and very clean. Everything seemed brand new.
