The tree hut is a cozy place, a family dream that took shape only 5 years ago and whose owners today want to share it with people from all over the world. Surrounded by trees and always accompanied by the song of birds and a spectacular view of the valley of the general; The tree hut offers the traveler a more than pleasant stay. Just 5 minutes from the center of San Isidro de Pérez Zeledón, characterized by scenic and natural beauty of southern Costa Rica.
In our Tree Cabin you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: microwave oven, water heater, induction cooker, blender, rice cooker for microwaves, French press for coffee, crockery and all the necessary utensils, plus of refrigerator. Living room with large windows; Furniture in beautiful woods such as ron ron, Cristobal and Guanacaste are part of the attraction. A comfortable hammock on the balcony ideal for a nap to the cooing of the trees and the song of the birds. We have for your entertainment books and board games, toys also for children. The bathroom has a hot tub ideal for a relaxing time. A modern electric leg massager will be very useful when returning from your walks in the area. We have a space for basketball practice that also serves as parking and a small tropical garden with path.
Our cabin is strategically located from where you can access a large number of tourist destinations without equal: waterfall forests, indigenous and biological reserves, hot springs, adventure tourism, beaches and mountains among many others.

Exploring the general

We had a wonderful time here. The birds greeted us with song each morning. We had a great view of the city. Good place to make day trips to the Pacific coast, and the rain forests. There’s a great farmer’s market in town. Our host was helpful and got back to us quickly.

Wonderful stay!!

Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the valley, listening to and looking at the incredible variety of birds… Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. Renters good proximity to the different things we wanted to do. Wonderful place. Earplugs made any noise from dogs or roosters or the street disappear without a problem. Very kind neighbors. Would definitely recommend.!!

Excellent experience!

The host was very attentive, easy to reach and lovely to communicate with. The tree house was perfectly located for us; 1 hr drive to beautiful beaches and 1hr drive to some great hiking. There was a fully equipped kitchen if you want to eat in yet it was a 5 mts walk to a couple of lovely restaurants. The treehouse is comfortable, quaint and spacious at the same time. We spent most of our evenings sitting on the wrap around deck reading. We definitely recommend this place and hope to return at some point. Sylvie & Rick

Basic verblijf

Voor ons was de boomhut te basic. Op basis van de advertentie hadden we een andere verwachting van de accommodatie. Er zaten kieren in de vloeren en het dak, waardoor insecten naar binnen konden. De ruimte boven is heel klein, geen prettige slaapplek, we hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt en een kind bij ons in bed genomen.Het uitzicht is wel prachtig en eigenaar reageert behoorlijk snel als je een bericht stuurt. Inchecken gaat gemakkelijk met een sleutelkastje.

Beautiful cabin, amazing views,

We spent a week at the Tree Hut this January & it was absolutely marvelous in every way. The owners, Walter & Yajaira, met us when we arrived. They are wonderful people. They were very kind & welcoming and made us feel at home right away. We do not speak Spanish so I was a little worried about that but with the help of a translator app we were able to communicate easily. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, clean & comfortable. The view alone was worth 5 stars and with the wrap around deck & huge windows it can be seen from almost everywhere in the place. I loved having our own kitchen. We saved a lot of money by cooking many of our own meals and making bag lunches. And the huge water jet tub was incredible. It was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. The tree hut was like our own private paradise. In the mornings we would sit on the deck and watch the butterflies and hummingbirds in the flowers and at night have dinner on the deck or wine in the loft while admiring the lights of the city below. The location is perfect as well and fairly easy to find after dark. It is centrally located between the beaches of the South Pacific and the Talamanca Mountain Range. So we were able to see a little bit of everything the area has to offer, but there is a lot to see. Between mountain hikes and waterfalls at Cloudbridge Nature Reserve, lazy days on uncrowded (sometimes empty) beaches, and exploring the jungle trails at Baru National Wildlife Refuge we barely scratched the surface of exploring everything. This was our first time in Costa Rica and our first time using VRBO so we were not sure what to expect from either. What we found was far better than we could have imagined; an amazing & beautiful country filled with friendly and welcoming people. And some new friends in Walter & Yajaira . We hope to come back every year.
