We had a group of six and everyone agreed this was a wonderful stop to our busy days site seeing. Place was clean and very comfortable. Great location to Yellowstone and Grand Teton
We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone. The house is even better than the pictures. My three teenage sons could all spread out when needed. Great stay!
We were 3 couples age 50 to 68. We all had private bedrooms and full bathrooms. Very well decorated and comfortable atmosphere. We would recommend this home to anyone for a vacation stay.
The location was perfect for our itinerary; close to West Yellowstone park entrance and not too far from Jackson Wy and the Tetons. Easy to find location. Very modern home and spotlessly clean. We loved it!

Thank you so much for the nice written review. I'm assuming that the 1 star was meant to be a 5 star. :) We hope you come stay with us again.
Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and well provisioned. In addition to Yellowstone, lots to do on the Idaho side as well. Bedrooms and living area set up was nice. Groceries and gas just down the street.
Clean, design/layout, and location were perfect. Everything we needed provided except food of cource. The store just a few block away had everything we needed food wise plus wood for the fire pit. If we decide to vacation in that area again we will definitely go back to the Moose Inn the Woods.
We enjoyed the house. It was well furnished which met all our needs. The weather was warmer than we expected; therefore the upstairs bedroom never really got as cool as desired.
*Easy to find.
*Clean & Comfortable.
*Although home/cabin was in a subdivision setting, you couldn't tell as the area was really quiet.
*Close to area attractions and Yellowstone entrance.
*Owner responded to inquiries within minutes.
The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Stocked with all the necessary kitchen gadgets and enough bath towels for everyone. Each floor has its own bedroom and bathroom which was perfect for our group. Loved all the extra fluffy blankets. Perfect for sitting on the deck on the cold evenings. The only downside was the cabins are close together, but other than that it was excellent!!
The place is overall really good. The only issue I have is the noise. The upstairs room has no door as the downstairs room can hear every foot step noise coming from the upstairs. Other than that, the place is very good.
The cabin is excellent . My grand kids liked it so much and so the rest of the family . One of our cars had a problem and the neighbor helped us by providing jumper cable and we really appreciate it ! Very friendly neighborhood. We could see bears and bisons in the park and had an excellent experience in seeing the geysers and the falls while driving through the park . I would surely recommend this place for anyone who plans to visit yellow stone .
What a beautiful cabin! I can’t say enough good things about this place, better in person than what the pictures showed. We loved the woodwork and decor, made you feel comfortable, cozy and right at home. The cabin was stocked as stated, beds were extremely comfortable and the area was beautiful! We went there to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons but also explored the Island Park area. So glad we went to Mesa Falls, it was absolutely gorgeous. This trip was to celebrate my 70th birthday and it was the best! The host was great, responding to any questions we had almost immediately plus we were greeted with a “welcome” package of snacks and additional info for the area. We highly recommend this place and if we are fortunate enough to return to this area, we would definitely stay here again!
We decided to have our yearly family get together near Yellowstone. The Moose Inn the Woods was the perfect cabin. We had 3 couples and each had their own space. The decor was amazing. Exactly what I would expect in an area like this. We were only a 20 minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone.
My husband loves to golf and we were very surprised to find a course just a few minutes down the road. There also was a disc golf course in the same area. Beautiful area for morning walks also.
We went for evening drives to find wildlife. The Johnny Sack cabin is just down the road at Big Springs where we saw the only moose we would see the whole trip. You can also feed the ducks from the little bridge.
We had a wonderful time at this awesome cabin. I would definitely stay again!
This house had everything we needed - nice rooms, location reasonably close to the park, and enough rustic feel to make us feel like we were staying in the park. The only issue we had was that the master bedroom at the top of stairs was lacking a door.
Our family of 4 rented this home for daily excursions to Yellowstone Park. The photos of this beautiful “newer” home don’t capture the detail of the large space and nice furnishings. WOW - this home was awesome! This home has it all: newer decor, the 3 stories with a bedroom and full bath on each level, the comfy beds, the large deck, a fire pit, a large outdoor grill, a large utility room, a mud room with back door from walkout basement, and very spacious. The location is in a nice neighborhood (mostly newer homes) on the North side of Island Park. It’s a 20 minute drive to the West Yellowstone entrance, 5 minutes from Big Spring recreation area, home sits near 9 hole golf course and lots of other activities that we didn’t have time to check out. We rent 3 to 5 houses annually and this one rates at the top of our “favorite” list!! Kudos to the owners of Moose Inn - we highly recommend your home!
