I am a retired nurse from the UK. I moved to this beautiful part of Spain in 2010 with my partner. I originally grew up in Manchester, UK and Enniscorthy, Co:Wexford, Rep. of Ireland. I lived in London, UK for 21 years prior to moving to L'Estartit.

Why they chose this property

This lovely villa is perfect for that quiet get away. It is perfect for both families and couples. It is located in a quiet residential area but is only 2 km away from the nearest blue flag sandy beach of L'Estartit.

As you can see from the photographs, this property has a lovely kidney shaped private swimming pool. The garden is secluded and is pet friendly.

The property is in the perfect location to explore this beautiful part of Catalonia with it's wonderful coastline and sandy beaches and coves. There are also many walled medieval towns and villages just waiting to be explored.

Another gem of this area is the cuisine. Meal of the day or "menu del dia" is available for a very reasonable price. A good 3 course menu del dia, with wine can cost from 10 - 20 euros per person. Over the years, I have tried and sampled many local restaurants, so please ask for my recommendations.

The unique benefits of this property are it's tranquil and secluded location.

The swimming pool in the Summer months is just perfect to relax by. To end the day, a barbecue and al fresco meal by the swimming pool is just perfect at the same time watching the Sun descend behind the Castell Montgri which can be viewed from the garden.
